I request evidence.
Just don't even give him the satisfaction guys. Leave this thread alone.
/care. Seriously, no one is going to read that shitload of a post, no matter if it's good or not. Put at least some "headlines" in bold font, which say the essential needed.
I request evidence.
What? I already gave you my evidence.
You are clearly misled by AMD's propaganda. Google it yourself and become enlightened.
I would expect you to full well know that companies have to be honest and their information correct.
/care. Seriously, no one is going to read that shitload of a post, no matter if it's good or not. Put at least some "headlines" in bold font, which say the essential needed.
So you're admitting that Facepunch users are ignorant, lazy, and lacking in intelligence.
From personal experience, Intel stuff doesn't last as long.
I would expect you to full well know that companies have to be honest and their information correct.
Especially when back in 2003, Apple LIED about their G5 benchmarks. Google it and you'll see what I mean ;)
This threed fails... everyone got different opinions and if someone wants to buy an amd its theere choice and they arent stupid for just doing it amd will still do in most applications even if intel is faster.
Exactly! I don't understand why people flaunt there products they own. "Intel > Amd" great. I couldn't really care anymore. I see it as if you wanted to have something civilized than don't come in here with blind evidence or propaganda.
So you're admitting that Facepunch users are ignorant, lazy, and lacking in intelligence.
Haha oh my you are a master at insulting "cough"
Good read, made me laugh.
From personal experience, Intel stuff doesn't last as long.
My 7 year old Pentium 4 PC has been running strong ever since I bought it. [editline]05:22PM[/editline]
also this: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/common_cpus.html
Way to link me to an irrelevant test.
op how old are you
At this time i5 (Intel's weakest Nehalem) is only 15 dollars more (on Newegg) than a 965 (AMD's top dog). Hmm, I wonder what the better choice is, considering how many times the i5 has consistently outperformed the 965 in just about every benchmarking site (albeit biased).
Are you a idiot? Trying to campare Intel to AMD processors is like trying to compare chalk to cheese. AMD are budget Price:Performance chips while Intel are high end enthusiast chips.
This threed fails... everyone got different opinions and if someone wants to buy an amd its theere choice and they arent stupid for just doing it amd will still do in most applications even if intel is faster.
This has to be one of the dumbest points ever. You're trying to make the performance of CPUs a subjective concept when it is, in fact, objective.
I've made 3 builds so far, all have been AMD and haven't had a problem :/. Also, I'm on a Phenom II X4 955 and I managed to get it to 3.7 GHz on stock cooling.

You'd have to be a complete fanboy to not realize that the i5 outperforms ALL Phenom IIs.
So you're admitting that Facepunch users are ignorant, lazy, and lacking in intelligence.
Actually, that fits the whole internet.
My 7 year old Pentium 4 PC has been running strong ever since I bought it. [editline]05:22PM[/editline] Way to link me to an irrelevant test.
But you don't even acknowledge the other test.

[editline]05:26PM[/editline]
did you not see buttsex's post
1. He linked me to an irrelevant synthetic test. 2. He linked me to Tom's Hardware.
That's a pathetic overclock considering I've gotten my i5 past 4GHz. [editline]05:26PM[/editline] 1. He linked me to an irrelevant synthetic test. 2. He linked me to Tom's Hardware.
First, did you get your i5 that high on stock cooling? Second, you were talking about synthetic benchmarks before I was. Third, you think every source that goes against what you think is biased, why is that?
yes, where it says they both out-perform the i5
There is just no hope for people like you on the internet.
Why are you talking about yourself?
I should report you for giving bad consumer advice.
I should report you for being a fanboy.
Oh god, not phone...
I should report you for being a fanboy.
:irony:
Just let this threed die i dont se the point of it..its still your own choice if you buy an amd or intel myself im sitting on an intel but im not against amd in any way. And i don´t think that the phone guy can convince everyone to buy an intel just for ranting :P
