Sam edited the prices incorrectly and was misunderstood.
well when I checked out it said 1.25, if you guys gave me that price i'll love you forever <3
Sorry, due to a big misunderstanding I changed the prices, but we are offering a 40% off for life on any VPS package use the coupon code 'LAUNCH'.
Y'should give me that 40% promo tbh.
Should give those who already tried the service the misunderstood discount.
Do you host the web hosting and VPS on the same box? If not, are they in different locations? What is the hardware for VPS AND Web Hosting?
Also, aren't you 15?
lowendbox article doesn't seem very assuring
http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/rethinkvps-2-08-128mb-openvz-vps/
I see your offering unmetered bandwidth on a 100Mbps port, you don't mind if I push out 31.4TB per month? Defiantly worth the $5.95
Also if your going to host VPS services, use RAID10 or don't bother at all. Cutting costs isn't worth loosing everyone's data.

Ouch.

I still laughed at their 100% uptime.

Damn you're nice
Going to rent a VPS to test the waters, also, as compwhizii said, why must I enter nameservers?
http://cluelesshosts.com/rethinking-rethinkvps/
So many things wrong with that.
Problems with the site are now rectified. Also just to clarify we are not using the reseller from Burst.NET, we are only renting our dedicated server from them.
Wow, how the fuck did you get MULTIPLE bad reviews already?
People not getting their facts straight.
[editline]29th November 2010[/editline]
Just to clear a few things up.
1. On the WHT thread it says, “We are currently managing a 100% Uptime report. Click below for the Uptime Report:” This was because before the Burst hiccup we did have 100%, but because Jonbeard, who made the thread is currently away we haven't had the ability to edit this yet.
2. People have said that its not 24/7 support because they have seen the live chat offline, nowhere on the website does it say 24/7 live support, it says 24/7 support but not live, because we do offer 24/7 ticket and email support.
3. The confussion over the money back, the banner at the top said 30 days because after we edited it due to people abusing it, I didn't have the PSD to edit it so I needed to get ahold if it to change it, but as you should know after ordering in the TOS it does say 7 days not 30, but that is fixed now.
4. We are NOT using Bursts reseller no matter what anyone says we aren't we only rent our dedicated server from there, that is it.
Also for those who think we are scammers, ask the people who have ordered with us today, I am sure they will tell you otherwise.
I give it three months max before it ends up in the dead pool of the companies. These companies are always coming and going.

Can you even call them companies? Isn't there some kind of minimum requirements before you can establish a real company?

We have had quite a steady flow of clients, you may be wrong.
I still want my 1.25 VPS! I'll just sit there and feel good about myself for having a VPS and not doing anything with it.
We have had quite a steady flow of clients, you may be wrong.
No, you're going to go out of business because your offering unmetered bandwidth on a 100Mbps port - this is the biggest mistake you could make. You want at least a 1Gbps port for VPS clients when offering the "unmetered" option.
Anyway, to put this into comparison:
VPS 1 is using 3MB/s upload.
VPS 2 is using .5MB/s upload.
VPS 3 is using 5MB/s upload.
VPS 4 is using 3MB/s upload.
Oops. That is basically 100Mbps right there.
Now obviously you are hinging this on people not using this kind of connection, but with the unmetered option these are the clients you are going to attract.
Even if they only used 1MB/s upload, that's still what - 12 VPS clients per node? Somehow, I don't think that would be worth the cost of a unmetered 100Mbps port.
This is why you are going to fail. You're entire customer base is pretty much from that "unmetered" bandwidth option. Give it a couple of weeks and you will notice a lot of bandwidth usage if you really do have many clients already.
Oh - and when you finally start maxing that port, have fun with all the tickets about "lag" since it will take forever for people to do anything, and then they will complain about "slow downloads".
This is the funny part: You can't terminate people for legitimate high bandwidth usage. If you do, you risk getting sued. Now, usually this would be fine and dandy since most people wouldn't even waste their time - however, you never know. Maybe you will actually have a customer with a lot of money and then they will rage and sue you upon termination.
I give this place no more then two months. Three at the most.
Website is down.
For someone as uninformed as myself, where would I go to rent a reliable VPS in the interests of hosting a small game server. It isn't a difficult game to run and doesn't require extremely low latency. The usual sites that offer game servers aren't interesting in hosting for the game and so I'd like to set it up myself.

It looks like they already folded. Failure.

Too bad, I bought a VPS hoping they'd last, oh well, it was only $9. I hope brohoster eventually get some sort of VPS' service up.
