I don't know how to use Bios, so I need help with this please?
That's like asking me what X is without even giving me the algebra problem. BIOS differs from manufacturer to manufacturer, sometimes depending on when it was made, I've even seen one BIOS be entirely different from it's peers because it was originally flashed onto the hardware on a Tuesday.
Okay its at 67 now, right after dusting. Its rising the longer I have the comp on, what gives? And, NVIDIA control panel always resets the fans auto control to 0% or something, argh I suck with comps.
OFC it will rise until it saturates. Run a stress-test after the removal of the dust. If it doesn't exceed 80°-90°, it should be fine (still too hot, but not yet that dangerous).
Do something like this [img_thumb]http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/7079/dsc02695ir4.jpg[/img_thumb]
AGP in 2008 :ohdear:
This will work, right? It's kinda like a squirrel cage fan.
It should. Might not be as powerful. I'm thinking like, this thing will make the card explode the second we turn it on.
It's at the same temp it was before I dusted it really, still overheating. I have had this experience before, but this time It was after I moved from one house to another, I fixed it before by dusting, yes, but this time I doubted it since the problem corresponds wit hit being moved, but its setup same as before. Its a 70-75 C now, which is still overheating. I can tell since every few minutes I get massive lag spikes in games, which is what I had before moving, but dusting doesn't seem to work.
Thermal paste, man
