That bitch will run my phone calls like a pro.
I don't live in the UK, it's about $175 here or something like that.
175.00 USD = 122.267 EUR 200.00 USD = 139.734 EUR 150.00 GBP = 169.221 EUR My conclusion is that it will be around 150€ here. EDIT:
It's said to cost $200(140 Euros), though since that is a rumor I can't confirm it.
I appear to be late.
btw all the links in the OP are broken
btw all the links in the OP are broken
Nope?
It's being officially released tomorrow, can't wait.
Ooh nice. I'm thinking of buying it as my current phone is a Samsung Tocco Lite
I'd kill a man for an Android phone. £132 isn't bad either. Except you'll probably be paying £25-30 a month for two years if you buy it through T-Mobile.
It'll become PAYG eventually like the iphone.
But the price will skyrocket once it becomes PAYG. The iPhone 3G is £349 from O2, for example, but is free with a £35 a month contract. In an ideal world, I'd like to be paying £15-20 a month for an android phone that cost me no more than £100. But those are incredibly optimistic numbers. T-Mobile does have the very competent T-Mobile Pulse though, natch.
I'm torn between this and the milestone. If it's not much more expensive than the Milestone in the UK (the milestone is £50 + £35/mo here) then I'll get it, otherwise the Milestone will have to do

I'm not sure I understand the implication of that.

However, from what I've seen this beats the Milestone (Droid in US) in almost all ways except for the lack of physical keyboard which I don't mind.
The ridiculous unlocked price tag (as opposed to the $200 initial rumor) and the fact that AT&T 3G won't work on it has turned me off completely. Maybe tomorrow's announcement will change my mind, but I highly HIGHLY doubt it. Good job google, you turned a potential gamebreaker into just another smartphone.
It's being officially released tomorrow, can't wait.
That's an assumption, they're simply holding a press event, it could be released tomorrow, could be in a month, who knows.
No multitouch combined with lots of useful applications using multitouch? How clever of Google.
The phone has already been rooted, I'm 100% sure multitouch will come to it at some point.
I don't see why Google hasn't enabled multitouch when it's multitouch capable. It really makes no sense to me.
It's probably to keep off Apple's back. They brought multitouch to the public and will probably try and pull a quick one on HTC (Sidestepping the sleeping Googliath) and take them to court.
It's probably to keep off Apple's back. They brought multitouch to the public and will probably try and pull a quick one on HTC (Sidestepping the sleeping Googliath) and take them to court.
Apple didn't license multi touch so I don't think Apple can do anything.
Also, been reading in to that T-mobile pulse. Guess what; It's free on a £15 a month contract. I think I just came a little. Need to find out when my current contract expires. [editline]03:59PM[/editline]
Apple didn't license multi touch so I don't think Apple can do anything.
I'm not gonna lie; I know fuck all about all the legal stuff. But, Apple probably patented something retarded like 'The use of a multi-touch operating system on a mobile device' or some such thing that doesn't explicitly patent Multitouch, but makes it difficult to put multitouch on another device. This is pure speculation though. [editline]04:56PM[/editline] Son of a bitch, T-Mobile automatically add an inclusive £5 a month internet bolt on to the Pulse contract. I guess I could give up my magazine subscription for it.

Guys... Since the Nexus One isn't coming to Europe before April or something, is it possible to import it from USA -> Norway and just use my old sim card since it's unlocked? Or is it somehow "locked" to American networks? [editline]08:00PM[/editline] the website for nexus one is up btw.
The announcement has me turned off about this phone.
The announcement has me turned off about this phone.
what announcement?
what announcement?
lol
lol
Please tell me there is a way to import this phone outside of the US before spring. [editline]09:37PM[/editline] Tried so many proxies it's not even funny. Can't really order in any possible way. What the fuck do I do now :(
According to that logic the iPhone would be "just another smartphone" too because it is ridiculously expensive unlocked (at least, in Australia, in comparison to the iPod Touch)
That's because it is just another smartphone.
Ok, I found a proper proxy, and I can now order... except, the place order button is greyed out (We are not currently able to ship to your country. If you wish to continue with your order you must specify a shipping address in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, or the United States.) What was that website called that let you order to some fake address in the UK, and they ship it to your address, no matter where you live? Please help me guys :(
