If they don't let you order in your country there is probably a reason for it. Do you know the phone will work on your network?
Yep. Checked coverage, should work both on GSM and 3G.
The spokeswoman said Google hoped to sell the Nexus One, “and future phones from Google”, to people in other countries such as Australia “soon”.
Well, that's comforting.

Thanks to JetCarrier, I just ordered my Nexus One :D
Hopefully, it will be here before the end of next week, and hopefully it won't be shitexpensive with all the extra costs.
Does the Nexus have landscape mode?
It lets me order one and I'm in UK, granted I stopped when I got to the credit card details part.
You can get the handset just not with T-Mobile in the UK yet.
Does the Nexus have landscape mode?
haha yes.
Fuck, I need this thing. It isn't available in my country yet :(
A downside to this is that they track each website you've gone to and give you ads from them.
I want to replace my iphone 3gs with this. But I live in canada and i am under a 3 year contract (or 2 i forgot)
I wonder if it works with any UK 3G bands.
I can't stop drooling about the 1ghz CPU.

That's not bad, you'll get porn ads
Eww matte.
Ewwww it won't get covered in fingerprints.
What?
I remember there being a thread on the Androidforums about HTC Hero deals, saw some for £20-£25 on a 18 month contract with the phone for free.
You wouldn't have a link would you?
I know the HTC Tattoo is available from Vodafone, but the deal is no where near as good as T-Mobile's.
lol wait what? 600$ for an unlocked version, 150$ for one with a contract?
I would NEVER EVER spend more than an euro for a phone PLUS a contract with monthly fees and shit.
Wow, that's cool, I JUST Got the Verizon Droid. Then something comes along with a 2x better processor and 2x more RAM. Probably gonna be less than the Droid, too. That's cool.

A lot of people would like more functionality in a phone other than calling and texting.
This phone appears to be awesome
Better than every other phone out there in every possible way
Stupid 2 year contract :bang:
Looks like probably the best iPhone competitor out by far.
Better than the stupid WinMo phones.

You can't even compare this to WinMo phones.
You can't even compare this to WinMo phones.
I know a guy who has a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. God, it's a fucking brick (weighs 5.57 ounces) and it crashes all the time, not to mention the menu is always laggy.
Why is this phone £330, god damn money. (And I'm not even going to bother with the vodaphone deal, the contract is probably going to be shit)
The successor to the 3GS better be damn good to compete with this.
The successor to the 3GS better be damn good to compete with this.
Meh, I never really understood when people compared this to the iPhone. I mean, the term, "iPhone" can mean several things. The iPhone without the jailbreak is quite different from the iPhone with a jailbreak. Even then, there's still a ton of things in the AppStore. It's not fair jumping on Google expecting them to match the iPhone yet because Android didn't have much time yet.
Although, I gotta say, in the short time it was given, it went pretty damn far. 20,000+ apps in a few months is fucking remarkable, especially when compared to, say, the 376 apps in the WinMo marketplace.
The successor to the 3GS better be damn good to compete with this.
Personally I still think the 3GS is better than this, it might not be equal in specs now, but I still think it is a better offering overall.
I wonder why this has laggy scrolling on the web browser and the iPhone 3GS doesn't.

Apparently Apple have some rendering code that makes everything run a tad smoother, the lag is actually from the software not the hardware, though Android is still an amazing OS.

I really really want to like this phone, but why the backwards leap to a single-touch screen?
I think I'll wait for the htc passion :)
Either that, or get a hero
The Nexus One IS the HTC Passion, the Nexus One is a HTC Passion made by HTC but sold by Google with it's custom firmware.
I think the UK version of the Nexus One will have multi touch when it gets released.
