• Computer decides to not like games - Stops connectivity to wifi but shows that I'm still connected?

Whenever I play ANY game, whether it's Minecraft, Starcraft, Anno 1404, or Battlefield Bad Company 2, I always end up not being able to connect to the entire after a few hours. When I'm in a custom game in Starcraft 2, randomly I'll get this "Waiting for Server" window popping up and then soon after that a "Lost Connection to Battle.net.. Reconnecting" And it never does. Therefore I quit my game and tried the browser but it didn't work. For Minecraft, I'm playing while browsing something like StumbleUpon or watching youtube videos then suddenly the internet stops working, despite the "Network and Sharing Center" on Windows 7 shows that I'm connected to my wifi name. It's pretty much the same thing for the last 2 games, it's odd. And whenever I want to reconnect to the wifi nothing works, other than restarting the computer, which doesn't work either. It gets hung up at "Shutting Down.." then I have to press the power button and hold it. Any help here please? It's getting annoying. Specs: Radeon HD 5770 Intel Core i3 550 4 gigs of DDR3 And my wireless adapter is a DWA-160 I've downloaded all of the proper windows updates and drivers.
Firstly, have you tried connecting via ethernet cable and seeing if the problem persists?
Can't do that at the moment, is there anymore solutions I can try?
update your net-card driver
