Can you stop with the God damned eXPerience argument yet? It was funny for maybe the first half of the page as Dr Egg was getting his ass handed to him, now it's just getting stupid.
dude be quiet i love the Dr. Egg vs Panda X arguments :mmmhmm:
Sorry baby. I'll keep that in mind :buddy:
7 is like Snow Vista. The world's second best OS. Finely tuned. (that's right I said)
:regd08:
Experience is the correct name for XP. Microsoft has said this many times before.
No they have said XP is the name and that it comes from experience.
No they have said XP is the name and that it comes from experience.
I don't know why I'm arguing when I know I'm right and have sources. If you want to be ignorant and dumb then have at it.
sorry I agree with Microsoft
You're saying 7 is second to Mac OS X on a predominantly anti-Mac forum? :colbert:
And some how he also has IE as his avatar? :wtc:
But if the username was actually just Panda, then saying they were Panda X would be wrong,
Saying their name was Panda X would be wrong, yes. But if Panda was short for Panda X, then saying Panda X would be fine.
and would make you look weird for saying that.
Well of course because you completely butchered the example with illogical details.
Is Windows 7 less resource hogging than Vista?
Is Windows 7 less resource hogging than Vista?
Seeing how Vista didn't "hog" anything, no.
Is Windows 7 less resource hogging than Vista?
:downs::downs::downs:
Windows 7 is godly, it uses tons less resources than vista.
:downs::downs::downs:
You.
You.
No. I think you fail to understand what the word "hog" means. Let me throw it down for you. You and a couple of friends are playing basket ball. One guy always gets the ball and never passes. He keeps it to himself. He's called a ball hog. This is NOT what happens with Vista. In Vista's case your friend shares the ball to all teammates. Vista's memory management allows Vista to release memory to other programs when needed. So perhaps it's best to know what you're talking about before you go around pulling things out of your ass just because the Vista Bashwagon said it.
I do use Aero snap a lot, but why is peak needed?
I use it while browsing the web and I want to see progress in uTorrent or something. Just remember not to minimize it or it won't update in peek.
i use 7, i love the little features like the window shaker, new taskbar, and the auto window-sizer. [editline]01:26PM[/editline] so yea, i'd say its worth it.
It is definitely worth it, 7 is so much lighter than Vista.
Saying their name was Panda X would be wrong, yes. But if Panda was short for Panda X, then saying Panda X would be fine. Well of course because you completely butchered the example with illogical details.
It's those wee details that makes the difference to its name. [editline]10:53PM[/editline]
Seeing how Vista didn't "hog" anything, no.
It does hog [editline]10:53PM[/editline]
And some how he also has IE as his avatar? :wtc:
IE8 is p bitchin yo
It's those wee details that makes the difference to its name.
No because those details were completely retarded and made a difference because they weren't correct at all. Your analogy was fundamentally broken. You're also confusing a 'name' with 'something you can call someone'. Here is a correct analogy: Panda X's name is "Panda X", on the forum. If the X is short for, let's say, XTREME, then saying his exact name is "Panda XTREME" is also wrong, because his name is clearly "Panda X". However, calling him "Panda XTREME" (which doesn't imply its his name, just like I can call you "Fuckhead" if I want without implying your username would be "Fuckhead"), is fine. This is basic logic, and happens every day when you talk to your friends (with better names than Fuckhead I would hope). Replace "Panda X" with "Windows XP", and have XP stand for "eXPerience", and you have the exact same situation as the basic logic I just described above. At this point if you can't understand this, I'm sorry for your loss.
I've had win7 for a while now and I upgraded from XP. I liked XP a lot but I don't think I would want to change back ever.

That takes skill. [editline]12:15AM[/editline]
What does it keep to itself and never shares?
DWM keeps two identical copies of the memory allocated to a GDI application, Win 7 only keeps one.
DWM keeps two identical copies of the memory allocated to a GDI application, Win 7 only keeps one.
That's your argument? The way an optional feature functions? Hahaha.
Windows 7 is awesome.
Congratulations, you managed to both completely agree with and miss the point I have been making throughout this thread. That takes skill.
I've been saying this since the very beginning, and you're the one who was disagreeing with it. That takes not only skill, but a fair share of stupidity.
Windows 7 is godly, it uses tons less resources than vista.
It uses as much, but requires less.
I've been saying this since the very beginning, and you're the one who was disagreeing with it. That takes not only skill, but a fair share of stupidity.
So you agree eXperience is wrong and XP is correct. Finally. [editline]08:42PM[/editline]
That's your argument? The way an optional feature functions? Hahaha.
That's what happens though.
