[QUOTE=ItWasNiceToKnow;24897456]Bad thing. [editline]03:37PM[/editline] Go for the MSI. I have almost the same specs on my desktop ( i5 750, 5850, 4 gigs of ram ) and it runs every game I play on it.[/QUOTE] There's a big difference between laptop and desktop parts. And the MSI is running 1680x1050.
[QUOTE=pieman26;24897414]is that a bad/good/okay thing.?[/QUOTE] You do understand that 90 degrees is a high temperature?
[QUOTE=wndash;24893965]Gotta love that bandwagoon[/QUOTE] How is that a bandwagon. I have tried multiple supposed "Gaming laptops" all sucked ass when playing Counter Strike. Because I have an opinion its a bandwagon?

Got another with HD5650 this year. It can play Crysis Warhead at Very High 1366x768, no AA and I still get around 18fps which is pretty much playable with crysis. Never failed to max any game I have thrown in. [editline]07:52PM[/editline] with playable fps. Except for Metro 2033 which gets around 30fps at High (which is not very high) with 4xAA and 16xAF [editline]07:58PM[/editline] May not be as good as desktop for same price, but I travel around so laptop is better choice at least for me. [editline]08:04PM[/editline] Did I mention that it stays at around 65c when under load?

[QUOTE=xxncxx;24902659]30fps is totally unplayable according to you.[/QUOTE] By that I meant that I can't max Metro 2033 which is named as "Very High". [editline]11:45PM[/editline] Sorry for bad wording
I don't really know why, but in some games, 30 FPS feels playable, but in some, it feels awkward
"HD5650, Metro 2033 which gets around 30fps at High (which is not very high) with 4xAA and 16xAF" Proof?
30 FPS is his max and that's staring at a wall in the mission with the tunnel.
Neither imo, Gaming is ment for a desktop..
