How would mine do on the OP's game list? Also Win 7 Pro 64-bit
Everything maxed out with a decent FPS
Awesome.
left 4 dead 2 Your a-ok there (maybe a bit laggy) GTA IV A bit slow maybe (but its glitchy as fuck) BF:BAD-C2 No clue CoD: MW2 Yea should work ok
yea that site is bullshit. my computer will fuck its GPU 10X over. i got a Radeon 2400 and it said BF:BC2 will run fine. WHAT THE FUCK no it wont! i get 20 fps on TF2 at the lowest res.
It said it will run the game, not how well it will be doing it. :downs:
The systemrequirementlabs site only looks at supported features and amount of video RAM, not the actual chip performance and memory bandwidth. Which means it's shit.
They will all run fine except for GTA IV becuase it's such a bad port it runs shit on any PC Spec.
Lol these are my specs: Pentium D 820 2.8ghz Geforce 8600 gt 512 4gb ddr2 ram I can play l4d2 on high settings at 35fps bfbc2 doesnt run well around 15 or 20 fps on low settings (imguessing this is also the case with gta iv) mw2 runs at 30-35 fps with medium
Thanks everyone!

Yeah, wtf? Maybe it's underclocked when idling, to save power?
How do you have Directx 11 with a GPU that doesn't support it?
DX10 graphics cards can do some DX11 stuff (maybe all)
Your software is up to date and has DirectX11 installed, your GPU is only capable of running DX10, thus, you won't play games with DX11. If all are waiting to upgrade your systems, I would suggest waiting for the sweet. Nvidia's new line of GPUs is right around the corner, which is going to start serious price competition between ATI and Nvidia. I would wait about 4 to 6 months to see how prices settle out before making a buy. On the other hand, ATI's new cards are worth the price.
DX10 graphics cards can do some DX11 stuff (maybe all)
Windows 7 comes with DX11
Windows 7 comes with DX11
Windows 7 doesn't magically transform a DX10 card to a DX11 card, believe it or not.
Windows 7 doesn't magically transform a DX10 card to a DX11 card, believe it or not.
Wasn't he asking why dxdiag informed that he has DirectX 11?

I have the same specs, except for the CPU which for me is 2.53Ghz. Bad Company 2 runs amazingly well. Gta4 runs shit.
I have the same specs, except for the CPU which for me is 2.53Ghz. Bad Company 2 runs amazingly well. Being on Vista-64bit, will I be able to run the old X-com games?
Well, that's new.
OP's game list will work on this? 4gb ddr3 AMD 2.7ghz triple core 128bit 1gb radeon 5770 DirectX 11

dragon age origins? intel core 2 duo 3.06 ghz nvidia geforce 9400m 4 gb of ram and asking about mass effect 2
dragon age origins? intel core 2 duo 3.06 ghz nvidia geforce 9400m 4 gb of ram and asking about mass effect 2
nope, even it lowest they're pretty much unplayable. but I have a core 2 duo 2.0ghz, I don't know how much of an improvement a core 2 duo 3.06 would have.
GTA IV is the type of game that just likes you're computer or doesn't. My 4870 and quad core at 2.8 GHz could run it at 18 FPS at any setting (which is like wtf). It wasn't worth the $7.50 during the steam sale, and I'd say it's not worth the risk of buying it at full price
Head out of your ass please GTA IV is a CPU heavy game. And remember the i7? It beat the Core2 Extreme when it was at a lower clock. If it's an intel, I'm thinking a Q9550? and how much RAM?
ARMA 2, max settings @ 1280x1024 with a decent (40+) framerate? CPU: Intel Core i5 750 GPU: Ati XFX 4890 RAM: 4 gb crucial Mobo: Gigabyte P55 UD3 Windows 7 ultimate x64
