Research reviews on Youtube and such, maybe even a laptop-mag review.
Alright, I will later tonight.
ASUS EEE sucks. I rather have an MSI Wind, or a DELL Mini 10v, since they run windows, linux, and OS X flawlessly.
omg it sucks cos i cant run 3 seperate OSes which i wont even need omg asus wtf were you thinking
Toshiba NB205s are boss. They're pretty expensive but worth it.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220660&cm_re=asus_eee_1201n-_-34-220-660-_-Product sexy, comes with 2gb RAM, but supports up to 4gb DDR2, and 250 gb hard drive, with an NVIDIA ION ....I wonder if you can overclock and intel atom...
Oh yeah, that's 12 inches. 12 inches is reeeeallly pushing the defenition of 'netbook'. Manage to cram nvidia ion into a 10inch chassis and I'll fucking buy that shit immediately. Unless it's fucking expensive. Which it will be. I've kinda gone off netbooks lately. They're getting more and more capable, but you can do a lot more with a proper laptop. Don't get me wrong, the portability is fucking great, but it's nicer to have much the same abilities you do an a desktop, and Netbooks, which are essentially conduits for you to access online content, aren't the best for that. Plus I hate depending on the internet for shit.

It's built for portability, not the fact that you can run 3 OS's. You're researching the wrong type of PC if you want that
Should try Asus Eee netbooks
Yeah this one is good, I have one, And i can use the internet, And if you have wireless, You won't need to worry about internet cables.
I hate netbooks. Keyboard is too small, screen is too small, audio sucks if you're not using headphones. I just bought a small laptop. Much better.
I hate netbooks. Keyboard is too small, screen is too small, audio sucks if you're not using headphones. I just bought a small laptop. Then again 30% of the price that small laptops have is a big deal for most people.
I love my netbook. It's a great little thing to have, I filled mine up with movies and music and use it as portable media player. You can take pictures on vacation and email them to people, play some half life 1 on a long trip, or just browse the internet without having to deal with a big laptop. Plus, mine was only $300, compared to the five or six I might have spend on a laptop. Granted, it might be too small for some, but half and hour with the keyboard and I was typing at my normal rate. [editline]03:27AM[/editline] And they are GREAT for porn
And they are GREAT for porn
I rememer the very first EeePC thread on these forums and someone said pretty much exactly that. And god it's true. Even on my archaic EeePC 701 it's still fucking fantastic, even when the small resolution (not a limiting factor on the 9 and 10 inch models) makes watching streaming videos a little fiddly. You can even stream porn from another PC on your LAN, I have access to my entire porn folder on my gaming PC from my netbook, which is fucking great as the SSD has less than 4gb total capacity. Oh fuck it, now I'm tempted to get a better netbook over a proper laptop. fucking.
Is acer actually some evil company who make terrible hardware or do they just get a really bad rap? I'm loving my aspire one, and it seems like they did a good job with it.
