Waiting for Apple's next MacBook Pro refresh.
More kinect porn games
Standardized phone chargers will be used this year as well. Shock horror apple have signed it too. It'll be micro USB.
Fucking FINALLY. A lack of standardization may be good for companies in the phone industry, but it is a headache and a nightmare for end users. I cannot believe it has taken them this long to even think about it. Almost all Android based phones have been like this for a while now haven't they?

I hope it's a good a joke as the Air was. "Cheapest Macbook ever. Only $999.99!"
Kind of interested in Light Peak myself, it looked promising when they demonstrated it. Also hoping (rainbow batteries at the ready men!) that OLED displays will start showing up a lot more.
Or only £999 "The most affordable MacBook ever" over here. Nice joke jobs but I prefer the chicken crossing the road.
National broadband network.
GSM. Getting tired of AMPS.
Probably Motorola's Tablet PC and the Music Player using Android.
Also the Nintendo 3DS.
Game wise.... Planetside 2 in March.
Yeah, the Xoom looks awesome. I also wonder if the Galaxy player will match the iPod.
Wi-Fi Direct
Sandy Bridge. My whole build has been waiting on that.
[editline]3rd January 2011[/editline]
And maybe some new netbook innovations, little bastards have been stagnating forever now.
Probably similar to homeplugs as he mentioned. Only, this would probably require encryption otherwise anyone could see your activity. It sounds unsecured anyway.
I also had this idea a few years ago
Pulses of voltage could be transmitted down the cable. Only I would have thought there would be a lot of interference.
Encryption of electric volts.
I was about to say thats a stupid idea but then I realized that our current ways of transmitting data aren't that different, are they?
never mind looked down like 4 threads
I'm looking forward to the CRTC hopefully allowing foreign players into the Canadian Telecom market. Then maybe we can finally get fair, uncapped Internet from more than just one of two monopolies.
I'm all hyped up for the Internet.
Playing games through the ARPANET is starting to bug me.
SSD's at $1 per gb
A tablet pc that runs windows. No android bullshit.

I'm waiting for that fucking toilet man, it washes and AIR DRIES THAT MUTHAFUCKING ASS after you take a shit!
Wi-Fi Direct seems like a very promising revolution

Does it work for computers with current gen of wireless chips??
force feedback cock piece
A tablet pc that runs windows. No android bullshit.
They have 'em but Windows 7 really isn't a tablet OS without a custom shell.
I'm looking forward to cheaper superseded technology
VDSL Internet connections in my country. But I guess I won't be able to afford one...
Does it work for computers with current gen of wireless chips??
Who knows, there are no documentaries on it yet. My guess is that it uses some kind of unique adhoc protocol comparing to the standard 802.11 adhoc.
The Nintendo 3DS.
Also looking forward to super wifi - wifi that works for 1 mile
Migration to IPv6 hopefully, probably wont happen but meh.
Migration to IPv6 hopefully, probably wont happen but meh.
it will happen
it will just be extremely painful
I'm looking forward to probable price drops on the older AMD 5xxx so I can build a new gaming desktop for cheaper!:buddy:
Although I'll probably just go with one of the lower 6xxx anyway.
