I think it's silly how many people use Firefox only because of Adblock+.
I just block IPs using my HOSTS file and then I use a simple batch script I wrote that lets me toggle the blacklist on and off. That way I don't get any ads in any program that uses the internet - be it IE, Firefox, Chrome, or Opera.

Works great.

I actually don't use ABP much at all, in fact, the last few times I used it were to block avatars of users on another forum that were getting on my nerves
[editline]03:54PM[/editline]
I do, however, absolutely love FireFTP and Firebug (Web Inspector on Chrome has a console I can't get used to, and what the hell is the horrible abomination Opera has called Dragonfly?) among my plugins

I like to customize my browsing experience. So what if ads get in my way.
[editline]12:30AM[/editline]
I customize them out of the experience.

:smug:
Does the 4.0 Beta support personas?
Just wondering
Mostly.
When you use one, the minimize, maximize, and close buttons vanish. You can't even click where they were and use them.
I prefer my theme:

Hardly any space is wasted + tabs on top + every addon I could ever want.

what the above poster said
Well it's not just a theme... You need a couple addons to make it look like that.

then post them
Theme - Chromifox Extreme Carbon/Green/Blade (pick your color)
Addons - foxiframe basic, hide menubar, stylish
[editline]07:00AM[/editline]
Oh and Chromifox Companion.
I like it.

It's like Chrome... but uglier.

You can turn the menu bar back on to fix that.

Exact reaction after looking at that image.
It's like Chrome... but uglier.
I've always saw Chrome as ugly and to me this looks much better than Chrome. Funny.

what is that blue squares thingy next to the windows buttons?
It's the equivalent of pressing F11.
Just my opinion, but that is a weird icon for full-screen mode.
I think so too. But it's so far off in the corner that I don't give a shit :v:

I think it's silly you're doing work to prevent advertisements, when I can rely on multiple manifests sustained by multiple people.
I'll stick with my Firefox and my multiple plugins. Chrome's got nothing on the fox.

chrome has everything on fox, better, faster, more addons, better userbase
i think it wins
chrome has everything on fox

better
Preference.
faster
They're both the same speed.
more addons
LOL
better userbase
Say what? How does it have a "better" userbase?
They're both the same speed.
No, Chrome is faster.
Say what? How does it have a "better" userbase?
Less fanboys.
Firefox became utter shit after it hit version 3, there was nothing wrong with how Firefox 2 looked, it was perfect.
Mine is the sexiest.

As someone previously said, it's only faster on a cold boot. Afterward, they both have the same speed.

And the userbase, fanboys or not, has no bearing on which browser is better.
Err, no.
