one I have that's my fav is the G15, fav keyboard that I want but can't afford is that fancy touchscreen one.
if you must have one or the other, get the lycrosa. that Eclipse III is hideous and has a very confused colour scheme
you can change the colour also if it's not just between those 2, take a look at the G11 but between those I'd take the Eclipse, goddamn laptop keys

I went ahead and ordered the Eclipse II from Newegg. Upon further inspection I decided that it's actually pretty sexy and I like how you can choose the backlight color.

I think it's the side buttons that ruin it, but at least it ain't the cyborg and Saitek must have some sort of thing for not changing all the LEDs, the Eclipse II kept the same blue Lock buttons so if you had red lighting you got this little fringe of pink
Are gaming keyboards even worth it? I mean I understand mouses for accuracy, I have a logitech G5 personally, but I usually think that gaming keyboards only hold a purely aesthetic value even with their dedicated keys.

i never use my macro keys but illuminated keys look nice but are unnecessary like i'm pretty sure i can touchtype even in the dark.
Is there a keyboard like the Saitek Eclipse II but with custom programmable keys?
if you agree with me that they're hideous then don't buy it. i myself can recommend a sidewinder x6.
Does the sidewinder have the laptop style thin keys? I can never tell from the pictures, I'll probably buy one eventually if it does.
LITE-ON SK-1788 So cheap that it's cheaper to buy a new one than to clean it. :buddy: Utilitarianism is best arianism.
Does the sidewinder have the laptop style thin keys? [editline]05:10PM[/editline] here i took a photo for you
I'll review the Eclipse II when it comes.
That G110 is brilliant. I've been looking to build a computer early next year and the only thing I couldn't decide was the keyboard. But then you guys posted the G110 so thanks!
I would buy the Lycosa, but it doesn't have macro keys and I fucking despise Razer. So I'm looking at a G11. [editline]01:45AM[/editline] And it's overpriced.
I completely forgot, you know rusty, this is the real deal when it comes to gimmick gamer shit. [editline]03:07PM[/editline] Or this.
I have an $8 dollar Logitech keyboard, looks good and performs great. I'm not a fan of macros.
Aww, I misread it as "Facepunch Gaming Keyboard!" :frown: Anyway... :buddy:
whats the point of Screens on the Keyboard?
whats the point of Screens on the Keyboard?
if you even have to ask you're not going to care what the answer is
;18253940']lolgitech g101 BLU lolgitech g101 RED
you forgot the numerous shades of purple between, damn sexy keyboard though in the top right, is that bar a volume control wheel or something?
Looks like it.
;18253940'][IMG_thumb]http://upload.hardver-teszt.hu/imgs/news/2009/488/logitech-g110-top-blue.jpg[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://upload.hardver-teszt.hu/imgs/news/2009/488/logitech-g110-top-red.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
Man that looks delicious. Is odd how "Delicious" and "Yummy" comes to mind before "Sexy" for that keyboard.
I use a Z-Board. It's a very simple keyboard and it's sturdy. Easy to clean. The only good keyset is the original. It also has a satisfying clack noise every key. Makes for some badass fast typing. I hate it's marketing though.
G15v2... I woulda gotten that G110 or whatever, but it wasn't out at the time sadly. I have pretty much no use for the LCD screen. :frown:
Well I have this: Saitek Cyborg Keyboard, the bottom bit can be taken off if you dont have the space. and its a really nice keyboard, lots of macros, lots of colours, the different parts of the keyboard can be customised to different colours, and its pretty comfortable to use. Oh and you can disable the windows key with a press of a button, so you dont have to worry about pressing it mid game
