Well I have this:

Saitek Cyborg Keyboard, the bottom bit can be taken off if you dont have the space. and its a really nice keyboard, lots of macros, lots of colours, the different parts of the keyboard can be customised to different colours, and its pretty comfortable to use. Oh and you can disable the windows key with a press of a button, so you dont have to worry about pressing it mid game
looks like a control panel of a spaceship
obviously i dont like it
A lot of gaming keyboards have that function.
So most of them are basically the same, OP just choose whatever you like the look of the most
G110 is where it's at.
G15 all the way mang.
G15 all the way mang.
NOPe
G11 or G15 v1 if you want blue. Otherwise G15, which is what I have. I love it.
Is there a keyboard like the Saitek Eclipse II but with custom programmable keys?
I'm looking for a Back Lit keyboard, with changeable colours,
A wrist/arm rest that can be removed,
Macro Keys.
^ Any such thing?
with changeable colours, the only one I can think of is the Eclipse III
otherwise G11
G19.
derp yes G19 as well
and G110 how the fuck did I forget about something at the top of the fucking page
I use a G11
Guys, real men don't even need to look down at their keyboards. So why need those annoying marks on your beautiful keyboard? Flaunt your superior QWERTY knowledge with
DAS KEYBOARD!!!

It has no marks to show you what key you are pressing, but you should already know what key you are pressing. Don't be a bitch and buy this keyboard. Oh and it clicks loudly so everyone knows you are here to face fuck some wimen in CS, or office productivity software.

"das keyboard" always makes me giggle
I'd like a G11 style keyboard but the size of a G15 v2.
My G11 doesn't fit in my keyboard tray :emo:
[editline]03:28AM[/editline]
Also, other than my G11, none of my keyboards have markings. Not because I bought them that way, but because I've worn them off.
Zboard Merc, very smooth and good layout once you get used to it.

I have one of those but I don't like it.

Well, yea, actually...
I would take the Saitek over the G19 due to the price difference and the similarity between the 2.Apart from the screen which I wouldn't pay $120 more for.
Id rather put that money towards another monitor for that screen use.
Flamboyant meaning.
1. often capitalized:characterized by waving curves suggesting flames <flamboyant tracery> <flamboyant architecture>
2:marked by or given to strikingly elaborate or colorful display or behavior <a flamboyant performer>

G15 is good for function + screen, very old but a lot of modern features.
G15 v2 has a nicer screen than the first one, but also color-limited and with only six G-Keys rather than 18. However all G-keyboards all have profiles, so there is unlimited ways to use them.
G19 has an amazing screen and no longer color-limited, but costs a fuckton. The screen is supposedly good enough for HQ videos, and with the same features everywhere else as the other G's.
The Saitek keyboards look cool, but still not as useful as the Logitech keyboards. And those asking why you need a screen or macro keys are mostly jealous, they come in handy a lot once you have them.
And Rusty, quit being an ass. We all have different preferences in style, and I think those Saitek keyboards look awesome. I do not see what is wrong with a "spaceship control panel" scheme, IMO the sci-fi theme is by far the coolest.
Now for a few general features.
The windows key lock isn't useful to me, but a lot of people tend to accidentally hit the windows key a lot. This is a problem because some games it minimizes, some games crash (certain EA ones I know that much) and some don't do anything. But if minimizing/crashing with the Win key is one of your pet-peeves, this will be a save.
The screen comes with a variety of applications, and you can make your own. Neat link with more about apps (there's a link to FP from here :v:)
The programmable keys, if you cannot think of a use you are bound to discover one. Back when I played TF2, the G-Keys were very helpful with voice commands such as Help, Spy, Uber or even Jeers. Also useful for applications that require you to do something repetitive, or even coding. menu
And, play-pause/stop/next/previous isn't even questionable, almost a standard these days.
Backlight; you will almost need it because when the backlight is off, the digits are clear rather than white making them hard to see. The very first G15 would eventually wear off so you couldn't see the keys, but the chance of getting this early version is very slim. Almost all V1 G15s on the market were made after that.
FINAL: USB ports don't provide power. Sorry.

apparently the G19s are
apparently the G19s are
It has a A/C cord to power the linux computer, which is the G19 screen.
BTW, I have the G15 V1, and love it, though it's slightly starting to fail on me :crying:
People who say LCDs on keyboards are useless haven't watched the Matrix trilogy on it while playing some games.
