It's been in the works to paint for about a month... but money is tight. What colour would look good?
something a little more neutral, maybe a creamy white or a soft green [editline]31st January 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/DSCF5560.JPG[/img_thumb] Put up shelves today :buddy:
motherboard buddies :respek:

Exactly why I need new shelves... :smith: Pageking! Fuck yeah!
Do you have a paint-swatch you could scan? I love your wall colour...
Chalkboard in the back? "Hey dust what's up? Yeah uh i need you to umm... clog my room here. You know, just spread around and do your thing. OH and don't forget to clog the computer fan. Really important." However, everything else is very nice, i like your 'table go round' setup.

I personally hate round desks because in my opinion i am stretching my shoulders too far and have an uncomfortable position. Also, my g15 is equipped with the wrist rest, and sometimes i happen to bump it with a knee because it is on the edge of the table due to the fact i can't reach far enough for a comfortable position where i can WASD easily.

Just moved into a new room, will post pics soon
Just spent four days decorating my room with an "Ajacks" style desk (self-made, counter style) except mine is only 2.5m so it has a steel leg at the end, plus I'm paranoid about it falling so the steel leg helps relieve that, especially since my computer is directly above said leg. Took some pictures. (24" and 32" Monitor/TV, looks tiny on the huge ass desk.) (I'm aware of the white smudge at the bottom of the case, already clean! The bits in the bottom right are just pieces I haven't put in my closet yet.) (Need to hang posters.) Took exactly £234 Still need to put up my black shelf and two lamps for either side of the desk (and posters, classy of course), anyone know where to buy Multi-coloured lights? Energy saving would be preferable, wanting green and purple, add some "ambience" to the room.
Now go to monoprice and order $20 worth of LCD wall mounts, put your tower under your desk, slap some game posters on the wall above and pick up an ego at walmart.
I do like the tower on the desk, but I might put it under if I get the wall mounts. Anyone know a good place to get them in the UK? Also yes, I have a few posters I haven't put up yet, should look better anyway. [editline]31st January 2011[/editline]
wheres a good place to get a nice desk
Build your own! Really, I didn't think it was a good idea at first but it's a lot cheaper (£20 total for my desk) and they're much longer/wider. A desk this size would of cost me about £300-400 atleast. Not to mention it looks much better than having a bulky metal frame. Got some pictures above.
