The only thing to make me wonder if it was his was the one monitor with facepunch on it.

Its obviously not his, he said so himself, and besides you can see the reflections on the desk dont correspond to the images on screen. He's just photoshopped a Crysis, steam and FP screen-shot onto the screens. :downs:

How do you survive using a CRT monitor?[/QUOTE]
I can't stand new monitors. I refuse to buy an overpriced piece of plastic until the day I can't find a CRT monitor anymore.

Anybody know what desk this is?
Well. I went to ikea finally. I got everything and it looks amazing. Everything but... the legs for my desk. Sigh. There were only three in the box. Who would take one leg. Now I have to wait a few weeks till they are in stock. And then I'll try and steal my brothers camera and take some pictures.
I had to take up some old play room for my temperary desk setup. I just moved back to my home city. My desktop PC is still up north at some guys place. HE BETTER NOT PAWN IT!

One in Frisco. We were there for 5 hours. And the final cost was 700$ but my room looks amazing.

My closest Ikea is in Cincinnati, I loved it when me and my girlfriend went there. I'm saving to buy a Karlstad sofa w/chaise lounge for my bedroom, along with some end tables, lamps, a rug, bedspread, and all of that garbage for my bedroom renovation. I'm also building some custom furniture for the room as well, should be banging, I love Ikea.
What all did you buy?

Saving up? Everything is so cheap you shouldn't have much to save up to. I sat in the most comfortable sofa ever, 100$. And it looked amazing. Right now they have end tables for 7$, and they aren't cheap feeling or looking. There was also an amazing coffee table for 40$. I probably should have gotten a light colored rug because I have dark floors, and I have a pretty rad bedspread already. But I may get some more stuff when I go back to get the legs.
Lets see... Part of my desk, a big picture of a zebra, some retro clocks, a mirror, some shelves, a nightstand, some of those cool boxes, a tall lamp, the most comfortable chair ever and the cushion for it, a swivel chair, a dresser type thing that's only 3 feet high, some pillows and these awesome glowing lamps.
The only mistake I think I made was getting a red cover instead of a white one. I'll post a picture.
O and the only color options they really have for all furniture is white, birch, and black brown. I went with all birch furniture and the top of my desk is white. And of course I have some red accents thrown in there.

Well the Karlstad sofa I want is around $800, so that isn't exactly chump change, but yeah, I love the pricing.
I live like 10mins from a IKEA. It's also right next to a Super Wal-Mart and a In-N-Out. Shits awesome.
Anyways, I cleaned my Saitek Eclipse II last night and thought the LEDs were awesome without the cover. And it's also really easy to clean and assemble.

You've got your measurement conversion off. 100km is about 60 miles.

Not surprising. Considering Ikea is Swedish.

I dislike IKEA since most of their desks are made from particle board, and if not they're incredibly expensive. I bought a desk from there around 2 years ago, and within a year the center of the desk began bending in. That's from light to moderate use. I ended up having to add an extra support underneath the center just so it was bearable.
Recently though I bought a new desk from Value City, sturdy and it was pretty cheap.

One mile is approximately 1.6km.
It's depressing how bad my desk is compared to other people's in this thread (May post image in 24 hours or so)
