Hey Someguest, do you have MSN?
Also looks pretty spiffy, grab a can of paint and spray that black though!
Yeah I bought some Satin Black wood stain, just haven't gotten around to it, soon as I finished the construction I just wanted to use it, cursed lack of patience. Yes I do have an MSN account, rarely use it but I'll PM it to you.
Someguest, is that an ikea desk?

I never thought of putting the two outer screen's bezels behind the center screen. I like it.
Also, my desk.

I use to do that but having the monitors at different distances just looked funky.

Understand that's a G27, but any idea where I can find a really cheap G25?
I use to do that but having the monitors at different distances just looked funky.
It's just angled, hardly has any effect on the image, once you play a game everything is essentially seamless, beats having a 2 inch gap between monitors.

Bezel compensation!

Well yeah I do have that too, I just like having less obstruction.
Can anyone with an L desk suggest me a better setup?
[IMG_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/102_08891.JPG[/IMG_thumb]
I'm willing to rid myself of the printer.
^ Your PC must be really hot running with all those red leds, but I bet it's worth it for the speed improvement.

It's kinda small to re-arrange. I guess moving the printer is the only thing I can think of.

Thanks for the name of the desk mark6789. :buddy:
I used to have that same exact desk myself. It was pretty decent till it started to warp, it got destroyed when I moved.

Could one of you two nice gentlemen link me to where I could purchase such a desk?
If not, could you at least tell me how much it cost?

How much did that cost you, for the driving stuff and monitors?.. Want to do something like that myself one day (I can't currently)

Well your going to need to get a eyefinity capable graphics card to begin with, (ATi 5770 minimum, a 5770 pulls 3 1600 x 900 easily, ) but if you want to go 1080 you will have to get a more powerful card. Just a note bout the graphics part.
One thing I dont like about eyefinity is some games fuck up the height of the objects on screen, such as the cars in flatout and everything in Call of Duty.

My room isn't completely finished yet, just some extra things need to be added. Also the frame housing my certification needs to be hung.
Really really nice paint job. I absolutely love that new color :O

Thanks! At first I thought the paint might be too dark since I intended to use the shitty holiday lights to light the room, however after going to the local target and purchasing two nice lamps the lighting was perfect. The lamps were cheap too, $40 for everything.
Well, it looks quite fantastic. The only thing that I kind of don't like is the selection of items you have on display, it's all games, but I guess when you're a solid gamer you probably want to put them up there. I would have put shit that isn't related to games at all - mostly because I feel like having new stuff up on the wall or on the shelf makes me cheap and generic.
What I do have a deep passion for however is movies and music, so I have framed posters of my favorite bands and my favorite movies, and the selection of those are a bit original and not that generic, in my opinion.

Or wait, is that room your bedroom or is that just a gaming room?

Designated gaming room, I'm like you with my bedroom though. It has various framed artworks and absolutely nothing related to gaming.
