Reposting after I cleaned it up a little bit, and got a new camera. It's already starting to warp a little bit.
huh i have the same desk. (did i recommend it to you?) but mine isnt warping at all.
huh i have the same desk. (did i recommend it to you?) but mine isnt warping at all.
Yeah, you did. It's a good desk, definitely. It's been pretty humid, and my windows are open most of the time, so that might have something to do with it. It might be the weight of the consoles too but that seems unlikely. It isn't as bad as it looks in the first picture, that's just fisheye. The second pic is a little closer to what it looks like.
I figured since you guys eat up pictures of my setup like Reece's' Puff Cereal that I'd post some real life pictures of my office. This is what it looks like after two weeks of neglect (as I have started back into the Fall semester at Uni and it's been crazy) Also MineCraft has brought out the very dormant gamer in me. I'm going to clean it tonight though.
That is a nice looking bmx bike. You ride?
I dabble, that's a 2010 We The People - Trust. I love the little bastard. I've upgraded to a nicer eclat rim on the rear (blew out my old one) and I'm about to change out the plastic pedals for nice aluminum ones. Also I'm thinking of chopping the bars and changing out the tires.
Once I get my desk from IKEA I'm going to finally paint my bike and throw it where my monitor would otherwise be just so I can be like Ajacks.

I got some cheapo mountain bike from walmart which I ride pretty hard through some forest trails and I can't count how many times I've popped the wheels and gotten them replaced. Is this due to it being a cheapo bike?
probably, or the spokes may to loose and tightening spokes is a bitch

I don't really ride anymore though and I never got to good honestly.

It didn't even cover the cost of the pedals :(
Lame, I know!
Sick bike, dude! How'd you blow out the rear rim? My friend blew out his from a bad three-tap.
Just went off about a 3 foot ledge, unfamiliar (which was the problem) and when I hit the rear wheel punched into a chunk of loose curb, busted the rim on the seam.
Your workspace is simply stunning, Ajacks.
Your rim gave out only from a 3 foot ledge? Was it a cheap-o rim?
Landing on a loose chunk of curb is far from landing on a smooth surface.
New apartment, new setup.
Why does everyone keep their bikes in their room?
Because were proud of them!
