7TB is doable for me. I backed up 500GB in PS3 games this week alone and I only half started my collection.
I'm the opposite of a data packrat. My home folder (which doesn't include applications) is 40gb. And all my applications take up 40gb. I still don't understand how you all use up so much space. I just have music and pictures and after I watch a movie, I delete it. And the only space consuming application is the adobe web premium suite.

I don't delete, EVER. I keep my own bluray rips aswell, each nearly 10-15GB each. I like to keep pretty much everything. To be honest, 7TB is nothing compared to some home NAS servers I have seen. Some totaling over 100TB. www.HardForum.com is a neat place, check it out. Just prepare to become enraged from some from some of the amazing setups people have.

How much space does your HDD have then? People tend to limit themselves around the size of their harddrive.
Yeah, if you got like 2TB, why delete movies you've watched? No need to worry about space :v:
Main reason I keep them is because they all get stored on a home networked HTPC in the living room so people can come over and watch movies anytime they want and browse my 600+ collection.
Oh and also wondering, is that a HAF 932 with custom sidepanel on your main build?
I've always wondered how you guys use your mices? There is like 3 centimeters to each side of your mouse!
And, I hate using a keyboard drawer, I simply cannot stand it.
I agree. Real men have giant desks covered in food, games, plates, glasses, speakers, games etc.

The biggest file on my hard drive was Half Life 2 but I finished the game so I deleted it. I don't get who the guy at the end was. Ruined the game for me.

Not custom, aftermarket. The coolermaster store sells an AMD Dragon Special Edition side panel for the HAF932. They sell them separately or with the AMD Edition HAF 932.

If you played HL1 you would know. HL2 expects you to jump in already knowing the main characters.

The best part about being into computers: People react to my decent setup with my 1tb external thinking it's the best thing ever. As they're rambling on about how "amazing" it is that I built my own computer, all I can think is how they haven't seen the half of it.

People stare at my computer and see all the red tubes and ask "What is that?" I tell them it's watercooling. They respond with "WOW YOUR COMPUTER RUNS ON WATER? ISN'T THAT DANGEROUS!?" I just facepalm and then have to explain to them what it means.

Ignore the ridiculous photo noise. I need a new camera so bad. Oh yeah, and the terrible cord manglements on the floor
Finally got a decent monitor. Was using really old CRTs with bad colors. This is a welcome change.
What model is that? I have a VH232H. Looks exactly the same.
VH226H. Close but no cigar

Looks like I probably shouldn't have boosted the exposure on the camera so much, it's quite noisy (not to mention the window is blown out).

With GTX 275 for PhysX and in Eyefinity mode.

You need hacked PhysX drivers. It's a little difficult to setup at first but once it works it's flawless.
