I disagree. I went from a 20" which I thought was big, to a 25" which I have now, as you can see in the picture. I sit about 18 inches away generally, and honestly, I'd love a 30 inch. You get used to it fast.
I think I'm gonna buy this desk today. It's for sale pretty cheap and I think it's sexy.

It's actually a decent size, I sit about 70cm away from it and its fine, also I cant even see the pixels which is usually a problem with big screens + 1080 res, its going to be great when I move rooms having the choice of eyefinity/surround setup + tv.

Nice bike.
tv's make poor monitors, i used to use a high quality 42" panasonic plasma, if your only going to use it connected to a pc you might as well get a 27" wqhd resolution beats size and when your sat on top of it like you do with a monitor the slightly reduced size doesnt matter anyway
Nothing too fancy, yet, I love the way it is.

This TV I got shows a decent quality picture even in VGA mode (HDMI cable hasn't arrived yet), I wanted a large screen to watch tv on, plug a Wii/PS1 into and to have my multiple PC's hooked up for large screen gaming. Plus I have 3x20" eyefinity if I want to use monitors with a mad resolution. Plus it was only £400.

What is that on the left side of your desk? a holder for your laptop?
Where you get it?
Looks like a hub
Thinking of getting some AV-30's once I have sold my X-540's (that I only use in 2.1). What are they like?
best out there for the price imo. I went through all sorts of other sets, including 5.1s, and I like them better than anything else including my mom's Bose Companion 3 Series II 2.1s. she just about broke hers when she heard what I paid $80 for.
bringing them up to ear level, whether it be with spare books or dedicated stands, makes a huge difference.

they're great speakers, I highly recommend them.

what boom is this :o
AV-30's on order :3:
I would love a somewhat larger setup, but my desk barely fits into my room as it is, not only that, this is a small desk. :saddowns:
My Nokia E51's camera sucks, but it's the best I had available.

Kicking myself for being impatient and rushing to buy a second monitor, even though the HP monitor on the right is not the full 22" with the moving arm, two HP monitors would have looked better =[
Then iv got my USB monitor with my email prog on it, waiting for the software to mature and so that the touch screen on it is less fail.

I'm going to sell my AV40s and acquire BX5A's at some point. M-Audio makes decent speakers. :0

Yup, I'm going to leave them as-is, however, until I replace them.
made some small changes.
