lol, ever been to MacRumors? [editline]13th October 2010[/editline] if not, it shows just how bad the OS X community can be.
Well I tend to hang around the Ruby community so maybe my opinion of the Mac community has been raised by them. Regardless I was referring more to creatives and programmers than blind consumers with know real knowledge of their computer.
uh, they can be pretty awful too.
uh, they can be pretty awful too.
Are you referring to the ruby community or the general creative / programmer types on OS X?
general creative/programmers.
Well you can get assholes on every platform, although I think OS X has a concentration.
HDR attempt.
why are we noting those things?

Ahaha. Exactly my reaction.
Oops, sorry about that, we'll cease to argue now.
i think i've asked you this before but what is that samsung monitor?
225bw
Here's the picture of my current setup. Excuse the mess of wires and random computer parts on the right. The desk itself is just a plastic picnic table, that's next to be upgraded. The mount for the touchscreen (on the right) was a son of a bitch to get stable on this desk, lemme tell ya. :frog: So, the setup all in all is: 3x 20.1" Dell 2007WFPB 1650x1080 LCD Monitors 1x 21.5" HP Compaq L2105tm 1920x1080 LCD Touchscreen Logitech G15 Keyboard Razer Lachesis Mouse Logitech X-540 5.1 soundsystem
That is an amazing set up. I want it.
i use oo on my windows computer right now, it's perfectly fine, does whatever i need it to
don't know if you've had this problem but the save format between operating systems is actually different, resulting in serious problems if you ever try to open the document you saved from a Linux system on your Windows computer. [editline]14th October 2010[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo146/GenKrash/desktopnew.png[/img_thumb] HDR attempt.
judging by the quality of the photo you probably should have taken it with the D40
I'm noting that rather horrible choice of wallpaper right now.
yeah i agree the original is much better. :)
Updated. Got rid of the second screen, eMac is sitting on the treadmill next to me until I can order the RAM upgrade for it... 256MB is not enough. New mousepad, I moved the sub from on-top of the Windows XP box to my desk, which is now located on the right. With this amount of room I might be ordering some AV-30's. Sorry about the shit quality. 2.1 Megapixel Samsung Impression phone camera.
New paint on walls, new furniture. I think it turned out good.
I hope you're not talking about the photo.
I hope you're not talking about the photo.
Nah, the setup, the photo's shit. [editline]15th October 2010[/editline] http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_04041.jpg Better quality.

[editline]16th October 2010[/editline] I actually prntscrned my screens and put them over the image because of the bloom. heh
That is a tiny mouse pad
That is a tiny mouse pad
It works. Here's the original image btw: [img_thumb]http://cdn.solidfiles.net//i/4825f.jpg[/img_thumb]
I used to have the same mouse pad, its small size was perfect for my cramped desk. So far, its the best mouse pad I have ever used compared to my current ghost series from gigabyte. Those things costs less than a dollar here. Its about Rm2 and if you convert it to USD its $0.60
Found a VGA plug on my TV, and now I'm dual screened again. One button switch between two screens and my PS3. Better than having 3-4 screens.
That is a tiny mouse pad
I have that exact same mouse pad. Over the years I've been passively cranking up my mouse sensitivity to the point where that's all that's all the space you need. Mine's blue though :haw:
