My battlestation, now featuring 100% more coffee rings
I cannot wait to get a new apartment so I can get a nice desk setup. I'm looking for something like this: Pretty much just one room.
I have such a small room right now, my 47 inch TV is like a foot in front of me.. UGHHH
That must really hurt your eyes. When I had my 42 inch plasma as a monitor it was about 3 feet away from my face and after more than a hour it would make my eyes burn.

Also I suck at taking shots with low light conditions
Holy crap that looks cramped as hell.
Holy crap that looks cramped as hell.
Oh believe me it is, but its cheap rent and it's all I can afford at the moment plus I get free internet and what not so I think Ill survive.
I wish you luck, I could never live in a room that small.
You could mount that in the top left corner and control it from your bed/couch.
I thought about doing that only problem is I think its much more comfortable to sit at a desk for some reason and also this room is very temporary so I don't want to do any work to it
A bit messy. This thread really makes me want to change my own setup, But I've tried every setup i could think of and I'm still not satisfied. If i make a blueprint of my room could anyone make some sort of nice setup with existing furniture i have?
[img_thumb]http://www.impulse82.com/files/desk1.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.impulse82.com/files/desk2.jpg[/img_thumb] It's a complete mess but whatever I try, it's never how I want it.

[editline]24th November 2010[/editline] Thought I would mention that after I purchase my new computer and repaint my room from light blue to something else (probably black and white) that I'll be getting a new desk. Thinking about an ikea galant but they are so damn expensive. Any other suggestions for a big desk?

[img_thumb]http://www.impulse82.com/files/desk3.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.impulse82.com/files/desk4.jpg[/img_thumb] Cleaned it up and really changed it around a lot, my room is a hell of a lot better and now so it my desk, it's finally organised.
Yeah that's a luxury apartment, good luck with that.
Luxury? That is like the standard of an middle class Swedish home.
Sweden sounds awesome.
Luxury? That is like the standard of an middle class Swedish home.
In the US a successful middle class family can afford a $250,000 home. I can imagine that apartment/condo being over $175,000 if it's location is at all half decent. For young adult that's nearly impossible to afford. But hey, I don't know anything, I'm not a homeowner.

More like low-mid middle class. Half decent location, 3 bedrooms. I thought houses in the USA were comparatively cheaper than the UK aren't they?
yeah man anyone who can afford a nicer home than me is a hotshot faggot real men live with their parents!
you really think someone in their early 20s should be able to afford a million dollar home when people in their 40s working their asses off can barely afford something that's like $70-$150,000?
You know, I would be happy with a small tidy apartment, big enough for my things and me. [IMG_THUMB]http://s-ak.buzzfed.com/static/imagebuzz/web03/2010/10/4/1/forever-alone-guy-painting-6308-1286169769-5.jpg[/IMG_THUMB]
