oh, and scan is next-day delivery. [editline]4th July 2011[/editline] ahahahahahahahahahaha
scan is next day!? :O :)
most places do next day, you still have to pay extra for it scan just don't do anything like 5 day free delivery such as ebuyer have but scan usually works out to a similar or better price even with delivery so
Ok so ive heard nothing yet from scan, im guessing tomorrow then, its mainly due to the fact i chose to do the pay 10% now and the rest within 9 months payment option lol, so as soon as they receive my letter of agreement they will tell scan and let them ship me my items.

Question: should i put my SSD to raid 0?
Question: should i put my SSD to raid 0?
Do you have 2 SSD's?
Do you have 2 SSD's?
No i have one SSD, and one 1tb hardrive aswell
No i have one SSD, and one 1tb hardrive aswell
Then how are you planning to RAID0 with only 1 ssd?
Then how are you planning to RAID0 with only 1 ssd?
Ahh i thought that somehow i could use the 1tb and somehow magically combine it lol
Ahh i thought that somehow i could use the 1tb and somehow magically combine it lol
You can raid0 the 1TB Drive and the 60gb SSD, but that would give you a total of 120gb usable storage, because for raid0 its Smallest drive * amount of drives. What is possible, is use Intel Smart Response Tech. What you do is make two partition on your SSD, a 50gb for boot etc, and 10gb for SRT. SRT is basically a cache which will speed the drive it's used on up. I have no idea what the impact is when you use the same SSD as bootdrive and cache.
It's so nearly here! ;)

Slick build, looks tidy. btw hows the HAF 922 for cable management and overal building?
Now you can browse facebook at 1000 fps 1080p
Slick build, looks tidy. btw hows the HAF 922 for cable management and overal building?
Loads of space for cable management, the casing has slightly raised and indented parts aswell for even more space!
Over-clocked and running super smooth!
Whaaa 4.5mhz Not bad. I didn't think you'd be able to go above 4.2/4.3 with that cooler.
you can get to 4.8ghz on stock, gets to like 70c though
you can get to 4.8ghz on stock, gets to like 70c though
Still playing around with it but this is what I have at the moment.., I reckon I could get to 5ghz without there being to much fan noise :) [editline]14th July 2011[/editline] There we go ;)
Haha awesome. So 50 mult, what voltage? 1.656?
Haha awesome. So 50 mult, what voltage? 1.656?
I've managed to keep my voltage at 1.620v and its very stable, temperatures have never exceeded 56.C even on a heavy load, idle its 40 - 45
I've managed to keep my voltage at 1.620v and its very stable, temperatures have never exceeded 56.C even on a heavy load, idle its 40 - 45
Update, okay so i thought it was stable until stress testing, and major benchmarking, ive had to lower down to 4.7ghz atm to make a 100% stable system, and tbh .3 im not going to miss that much :P
No, but it's not a nice round 5 :(
No, but it's not a nice round 5 :(
Yeh if i water cooled i could do it but otherwise my temps would hit close to 98 degrees on maximum load lol
Just out of interest, i just did a 3d mark 11 benchmark and got P6595 3DMarks. is that good?
bump
I would guess it's good, considering your system. Also I can get to my computer again tomorrow! Photo dump incoming.
