Just a bit of an update: Audio Technica M50s here. TehWhale, might be what you're looking for.

Budget: <$100

That's IF he finds them for $100. Still needs recommendation for definite $100 phones if he can't find them that low.
Budget: Any where up to £100 Can you use Ebay: Yes Country: UK Isolation: Open Purpose: Everything. Main point is they need to be wireless. As I move around alot I need them to be wireless. Ive had a set of Philips SHC 8525 for the last 8 years, but theyve snapped today. Looking at if there were any better ones out there otherwise I will just get a new pair.
Just got my Alessandro MS1. The first thing I noticed was that the sound was so damn low, and there is no bass at all. It felt like a huge downgrade from my Koss Porta Pro's I've been using in the meantime. But then I thought, that it might be my built-in sound card that's shit. Could that be the case? If so, which one should I get? Xonar DS, Xonar DG or Xonar DX? Or should I go for the more expensive Xonar Essence?
Xonar DG is cheap and has a built in amp if you don't really want to spend <$90.
Hey guys, can anyone suggest me a clip on mic for <£30 please? Looking to use it for gaming and skype - thanks.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000185ALA/ref=oss_product I bought that one due to the advice from above a few posts on the page. [editline]20th July 2011[/editline] Gonna arrive in a 2-4 days, tell you then
You need it 4 inches away from your mouth, no good for me :(
You need it 4 inches away from your mouth, no good for me :(
No you don't. With mic boost it can be adjusted from anywhere between inaudible to picking up the whole room.
Budget: I have 600$ usable I do not plan on spending anywhere close to that Can you use Ebay: Yes Country: US Isolation: Dont care Purpose: Gaming, music, some movies I probably need a soundcard, amp, and a mic if it does not come with one. I know hardly anything and I need help.
Clip on mics are really inconvenient - get a desktop mic
And desktop mics capture ALL the noise, and not just your voice. Besides the cable on that one is meant to go side-by-side with the headphone cable IF you're wearing any.
I think I posted this a few pages back but never got a good reply. I bought a zalman mic-1 and it is insanely quiet, even with +30db boost through windows sound settings. I heard people saying that it captured sound from other rooms in their house, yet for me it barely picks up my voice. How can I amplify the signal without getting loads of background noise/static/interference? Does the xonar DG also boost microphone signals?
0-50 dollar in-ear monitors HeadBanger Audio Universal Ear Subs $15 to be honest here i'm a bit skeptical of j00g0t0wnd's review mainly because he an extreme bass head who uses equalizer and thinks tiny portable amps can prevent clipping but believe what you want
Where the hell can I buy these online? I can't find them anywhere. (With UK Delivery) I guess they're discontinued?
Is there a lot of sound leak (can you hear music outside of the headphones) with the AD700s? [editline]19th July 2011[/editline] I'm getting the Xonar DG and one of these headphones What do you guys think? I listen to mostly bass-y music
XB700 is supposed to have a considerate amount of bass
Clip on mics are really inconvenient - get a desktop mic
I like clip on mics...
Budget: 50-70$ Ebay: no Country: US Isolation: Doesn't matter Gaming: 60% Music: 40%
Is there a lot of sound leak (can you hear music outside of the headphones) with the AD700s?
Extremely bad sound leak, yes.
Budget: +/- $100 Ebay: no Country: US Isolation: open Gaming: 50% Movies: 50%
Budget : 50€ or so. Ebay: Nope. Country: Estonia. Isolation : Closed I guess. Gaming : 60% Music: 40% Sound comes through a reciever anyways. Can use a soundcard, have integrated too. Soundcard what I could use is some old Genius one.
Uhm, is there a xbox 360 headset that can be used on computer to? Like usb or something. I would be looking to spend around 50$ maybe more.
Uhm, is there a xbox 360 headset that can be used on computer to? Like usb or something. I would be looking to spend around 50$ maybe more.
You mean just voice or do you want game audio too?
My Sennheiser HD 25-1 IIs came today :v: First thoughts are that they are very light on my head, I can hardly feel them but after about 10 minutes they felt like they were clamping my head, moving them about fixes that and I'm sure that will go away once I switch out to the other cushions and break them in a bit. EDIT: The other cushions are so much better! I had some crappy Fatal1ty headphones before and I must admit I miss the rumple bass they produced, but the sound quality on these is so much better. The isolation on these is also, INSANE, when I'm listening to something I can't hear anything at all, I can barely hear myself type when I'm not listening to anything as well, the only downside to this is that my mum is going to get pissed when I don't come down for dinner because I couldn't hear her  I'm going to be getting a sound card soonish for an extra boost and I'm deciding between the Xonar DG 5.1 and Xonar DS PCI 7.1, which do you suggest?
You might benefit slightly from an amp, so go with the DG.
Aha I thought the DS had one as well, DG it is then!
You mean just voice or do you want game audio too?
Both if i could, i bought a xbox 360 headset yesterday but it only gives me there voice and not the game audio, kind of pisses me off how microsoft nickel and dimes me for my audio
I knew I should have gotten 2 day shipping.. Status: In transit Ship Carrier: UPS Tracking ID: Latest Event: Saddle Brook NJ Departure Scan - July 20, 2011 11:07:00 PM Not even left the state it was shipped in 4 days later, so I guess they're going to take maximum ship time.
