Looking at the "Go Mic" it doesn't say what modes it has, Also where do you have yours setup? On your desk, Laptop or what?
An $18 boom arm attached to a $2 desk microphone mount with a home made pop filter, I use Cardioid with a -10dB pad, the modes are: -10 dB pad Cardioid, Omni, and just Cardoid. You can literally just clip it anywhere that it'll fit though, it's awesome. [editline]20th September 2011[/editline] It screws on at the base, there, and the headphones and USB connection go there. you can just set it there like that or clip it on just about anything, it only opens to about a 1.5 cm wide, though. [editline]20th September 2011[/editline] honestly for $100, there's probably stuff in Australia more reasonably priced.

[editline]20th September 2011[/editline] Well I found a old headset I had awhile ago and my friends say they hear me clearer then on my Turtle Beach. I was looking for a new mic cause my Beach broke. But I'll keep it in mind, Thanks It screws on at the base, there, and the headphones and USB connection go there. Thread what is this? Serious it's not, lock it will
Hello! I'm looking for a great headphone, my previous one was a Sennheiser HD202, but now I'm looking for a more (better) expensive one. I often listen to music (60% of the time), which is some rock/pop music (prefer great bass). I also want to game (40%) with it (prefer surround) and be able to talk with my friends through a microphone on the headphone. I have a integrated sound card on my MSI P67a GD65 B3, I don't know if it's worth upgrading . I've already looked around, and I saw the "Creative Tactic 3D Sigma", but I don't really know what you guys think of that card... My budget is around €70-80, I can use Ebay, and I live in The Netherlands, I btw prefer some over ear and closed headphones. Thanks for any help, I will hear it if you need more information :).
Finally ordered some AD700s with an Asus Xonar DG soundcard \:v:/
If money is no concern, are the Logitech 600vi's good? I'm looking for in-ear, with a sleek inline remote and volume control(like apple earbuds) [editline]21st September 2011[/editline] And are they durable enough to be used around campus?
Budget - 75$, although I would prefer using only 40-50$ Ebay - Sure Country - US of A Isolation - Closed Purpose - 90% music, 10% movies Musical tastes - Rap, electronic, indie rock (going off my last.fm tag cloud) It'll be nice if it had a case, so I don't break them at school or something
I've been doing some research, and these look really nice.
Updated the OP as I said I would do in May when I made the thread, sorry it took so long. Hopefully it's an improvement over the previous. (It's cleaner at least)
Budget: $100ish eBay: possibly Country:USA Isolation: Earbuds Purpose: Casual listening on train and around campus Music Tastes: soundtracks, facepunch collabs, ambient electronica, rock Previous Experiences: iPhone earbuds Comments: Leaning towards Logitech UE 600vi
Budget: $1-$60 eBay: No, thank you. Country: United States Isolation: Preferably isloated Purpose: Music, video games, movies and conversation Music Tastes: Shoegaze, Post-Rock, House... all sorts of but mostly very layered music Previous Experiences: iPhone headsets and cheaper alternatives and some Logitech speakers and headsets Comments:Washington state produces more apples than any other state in the union.
Recently came upon the KRK 6400 Bought them instead of the Shure SRH750DJ and I can't say that I am disappointed. Really detailed sound, REALLY AWESOME highs and mids, but lacking in powerful bass, however it's there when it needs to be. If you are looking for a neutral-sounding headphone under 120$, these should definitely be considered. Good thread on these: http://www.head-fi.org/t/560605/krk-kns-6400-review-impressive-99-giant-killer Listening to Daft Punk on these is truly like walking on clouds, it sounds so good

Okay, going off topic a bit but I ditched new headphones for a 5.1 Surround system instead: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000LBHFMO/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_g147_i2?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=1NHJRGGJ33AYX132NDN1&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128473&pf_rd_i=468294 However, I need a 5.1 sound card... £30 at most but around 20 would be better.

Recently (today I believe) there's been a somewhat "static" in my headphones when using them at my computer. It's really noticable at about 50% volume, almost a low boopppppppppppp with static. Any idea what this is or how to get rid of it? Last week I installed a Xonar DG
Budget:$40 eBay:Not an option. Country:Canada. Isolation:I want to be the only one to hear it when its fairly loud. Purpose:Listening to music, playing games Music Tastes:Metal, Techno, Dubstep, Classical. Comments:I will primarily be using these to listen to music, and at a fairly loud level.

What are your opinions on wireless headphones? I go through so many headphones because of cables wearing out, I would fork out around $200 for a pair of sturdy wireless headphones. Comfortable headphones is a big plus.
Not sure if it's a pricing error or knock-off merchandise, but wow: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Radiopaq-Custom-Tuned-Pop-Earphones/dp/B0022NHI30/ref=lh_ni_t Just ordered a pair for myself. Based off trying my brother's pair and head-fi opinions, they are more than worth even the full RRP.
I think I have a shape problem with my ears. No matter which headphones I use, after 5 minutes my right ear starts to sting and hurt like hell. I tried cheap headphones, and expensive ones. Am I just unfortunate?
If you're using front audio, don't
I'm not, it seems like it's the card is fucked in some way. I also noticed my mic doesn't like to work when plugged into the xonar dg. I'm getting it RMA'd from Amazon. It didn't start out doing this
where can i get mdr-v6 for cheap

Jesus christ these are sexy. Shame about the price.
I never understood those: if you buy those, why not put a real bullet into your head, instead?
They look nice. But I am pretty sure I can buy a box of 9mm ammo for less. EDIT: 500 plus rounds for that price: http://www.luckygunner.com/9mm-115-gr-fmj-wolf-wpa-mc-50-round
