iPhone 3G :(
Basically the build quality compared is shit, and the legit ones have chrome on them
Jesus fuck, now Pixmania (Bought my last headset) tells me that I can't get a refund in cash, only to my pixmania account.
And they don't have the MDR-XB1000 there or the FiiO E7 and E9 there, fucking fuck fuck.

Keep arguing, this is a standard Pixmania response

Are they capable of actually giving out refunds? No need to argue if they can't do anything whatsoever.
But I'll fucking complain their brains out if I have to.

I remember reading a review that did get a proper refund after being fobbed off with that response (and then complaining)

Complaining it is. :v:
Budget: $100 including shipping
eBay: Sure.
Country: USA
Isolation: Strongly preferred.
Purpose: 90% music, 5% games, 4% YouTube, 1% movies.
Music Tastes: Pop/Dance.
Previous Experiences: Only cheap in-ears.
Comments: In-ears are preferred, but I would use closed ear if the isolation is really good.
Can anyone recommend a good pair of earbuds? I listen to my music really loud so I need a pair that won't leak and bother other people. Budget isn't really a problem but I don't want some ridiculously expensive pair, I'm thinking <$50 USD.
Budget: $60 Australian dollars
eBay: Sure
Country: Australia, meaning US sites are kind of inaccurate in regards to pricing since tech prices are jacked up over here, so preferably from an aussie site would be great
Isolation: I need earphones, not sure if or how isolation applies to earphones, but i need in ear earphones.
Purpose: Music only
Music Tastes: Bit of everything, but would like earphones that has a lot of bass, but not at the cost of general music quality like skullcandy's
Previous Experiences: Sennheiser cx300's that would break on me all the time, last headphones were some $40 logitechs that literally lost some volume in one ear after a day,
Comments: based on the above, id like something that isnt known for breaking, but if it means going for some fringe brand ive never heard of that advertises "rugged" earphones, then dw about it.
I complained, they tried to force me to accept a refund to my PIXMANIA account.
BlueYoshi used "the law".
Its super effective.

Now I can afford the MDR-XB1000 and the FiiO E7 and E9, or should I get something else?
If i'm looking for some as close-to-real as possible headphones (not bass/treble emphasised) for studio work and some mixing work, would I be right in looking at the ATH-M50's?
Yes

is there anywhere you could demo them?
[editline]5th October 2011[/editline]
ik guitar center has them, they should let you listen to them.
Budget: Around $60
eBay: no
Country: United States
Isolation: Open would be preferred
Purpose: 80% Gaming, 20% Music
Music Tastes: Rock, Classical
Previous Experiences: Jack shit
Comments: Would like some nice open headphones. A suggestion for a good desk mic would also be nice.
Ok, so what do the M50's require in terms of amps?
Ok, so what do the M50's require in terms of amps?
They won't
Anyone know some good secure in ear phones, for less than a £10er (in the UK). I mainly listen to prog and metal, but my main concerns are durability, portability and isolated enough not to wind everyone up on the bus(and not looking like a prat).

It's over £10 and looks too fiddly for me, and it has no reviews.
Does this seem like a good mic?
It's over £10 and looks too fiddly for me, and it has no reviews.
It's £8 off, the best you'll get for about £10. If you need it to be exactly under £10 I can find something else.
I bought that pair back when they cost £50. (Exactly the same, just an old line) and their sound quality is amazing for the price.

Take a look at this one then:

Any good headsets suitable for gaming, with a microphone? I ain't complex when it comes to sound, but this G35 is fucked up so much that the cord is trying to kill itself with tangling. I'm used to the G35, so something similar to that would be good.\

Seriously, fuck this headset.
If you're looking for cheap HD201 and a mic
I just realised that I spent my money on games and movies when I could have bought that FiiO combo. Oh well..
