I have Philips SHP2000. Would like a upgrade.
I listen to, uh, everything?
I think around 20-30 euros. Max 40 probably.
I've successfully sold XB-500s to three kids this week. Can I get a job at Best Buy now?
I'm thinking of buying a pair of HD-448 headphones
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-Quality-Closed-Circumaural-Headphones/dp/B002DGTGO0
Are they any good and worth the money?
Just bought a pair of HFI 580's and a Xonar DG.
With a microphone attached, what would you guys say is the best headset to get?
With a microphone attached, what would you guys say is the best headset to get?
To be honest? None.
If you MUST DO IT. Sennheiser has something with a mic.
What's the problem with headsets with mics attached anyway?

Quality vs. Price = bad compared to getting good heaphones and a mic.

they're almost always marketed as ~gaming headsets~, which are always overpriced ricer shit with terrible sound
Any opinion on the ATH-M30?
A friend is after pretty much anything decent < £50
What's good for under $150NZ ($120US)
Ill use them mostly for gaming and music. Don't care about mic, already have one
Welp, my Xonar DG + XB500's just showed up today
Sounds incredibly awesome after some tweaking, even sounds good on my 2.1 system.
Haven't tested it in games yet, looking forward to doing that next with Missing Link
So my brother is interested in a pair of beats by dr dre. Since they're obviously overpriced and silly, what other headphones would sound good to a 14 year old (So somewhat bass heavy), be extremely comfortable and have decent build quality?
I saw the Sony XB500s mentioned, though they look like they could be uncomfortable after using them for a while. Am I being silly or are they exactly what my brother would be interested in?
ATH-M50(s), durable as hell, fucking awesome headphones with pretty awesome bass.

They are really comfortable, only issue is that if its hot there is little to no breathablity
Why would i choose Sony XB700 over XB500. Are XB700 worth the prize diifference?
Do mobile phones have enough power to use them without problems.
I do think XB700's are better sound quality but obviously cost more. You'll have to google some reviews to make sure.
And not sure on the second one. My XB500's can sound "quiet" without amplification on max volume, but only in the "I probably wouldn't be able to use them in a loud enviornment without any BG noise" sense. Then again, its closed and therefore blocks out a lot of exterior sounds.
Of course you could always download an app like Volume+ which amps out the default max volume of android phones/tablets.
Budget: <$60
eBay: no
Country: US
Isolation: ?
Purpose: I need something I can talk through.
Music Tastes: Metal, Techno, Rock, Hard Rock
Previous Experiences: Turtle Beach x1's and X11's, Tritton AX 180's (before and after Madcatz bought them.)
Comments: Something with a built in mic. don't care if it's SOOPERL33T GAEMING HEDDSET, want to talk to buddies on skype while playing League of Legends. and maybe hear music. that's it.
I use the XB-500's daily powered from my iPhone 4. They get enough power and have shaken my glasses before on bass heavy tracks.

Thanks for answer.
I have two questions more:
Do they leak sound so others can hear what you are listening?
Are they comfortable for people with glasses?
Is the Fiio E11 a good headphone amp coupled with the HD555's?

1. Yes. They are basically speakers at full volume.
2. Extremely comfortable.
I'll get them next week!
Which of these headphones are better? I really don't know which one to pick at all.

V6 most likely sound better. Never heard about the 448 and the V6 are an often praised headphone that are often recommended.
Can someone lead me in the right direction for getting a good pair of headphones for gaming? I'm not really sure where to start, or what brand is the best.
My ATH Ad700's just arrived in the mail. Anything I should do software wise to do checkups/tune them? I have no idea what I'm doing.

leave them alone, don't EQ like everyone seems to be doing lately, they'll get better after a week or two of use, keep them on at night at just above listening volume fluctuating with pink noise on, from http://simplynoise.com/ if you want to quicken it.
