Is there any good cheap (really cheap) 2.1 (or 2.0) speakers? Just something to watch shows / movies at my PC, and maybe occasionally music, but that's it. Headphones are superior, and I hate having to start up VAC, change the audio output, and deal with two pairs of headphones for my girlfriend and I to watch stuff.

I'd like if they have the ability to wall mount, and somewhat long cables.
Not cheap, but you could get the AV-30's. I'll look around though.

There are a shit ton of Logitech 2.1 systems on Newegg. Not sure on any of the other brands though, sorry.
Are these as good as they say they are?

Can someone recommend me a headset no more than £120? Using it for games and random music.
Pretty much the best one with that price? Thanks

Headset? No. Buy headphones and a mic.
Well in that case, either a good headset, or a good set of headphones/mic.
Can anyone recommend a good headset for gaming, without mic of course, within the ~100$ range?

I am also going to be listening a lot to music, but I listen to all genres pretty much.

Add £10 and buy the ATH-m50 and a cheap mic.
Budget: Up to $50
eBay: Preferably not
Country: United States
Isolation: Either way really
Purpose: Mostly used with my iPod touch, but will be used for gaming on my computer also.
Music Tastes: I go from dubstep with moderate bass one day to Muse and Sia the next
(I'm oblivious :v )
Let me try again
need some headphones for my ipod
Budget: Up to $50
Country: Denmark
Isolation: Closed headphones
Purpose: Mostly on my ipod
Music: all that hard stuff with bass :D

Song MDR-XB500's. They are closed, but they leak noise like fucking crazy and rattle your head with bass.
Song MDR-XB500's. They are closed, but they leak noise like fucking crazy and rattle your head with bass.
Not everyone wants head-rattling bass. Most people want some headphones that will accurately reproduce sounds in the highest quality possible.

I'd recommend these: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD428-Closed-Circumaural-Headphone/dp/B002DGTGNG/ref=sr_1_17?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1320170420&sr=1-17

I agree, but they listen to dubstep and 'stuff with bass' so they probably want their ears raped by overpowered, muddy bass.
I agree, but they listen to dubstep and 'stuff with bass' so they probably want their ears raped by overpowered, muddy bass.
I listen to dubstep and other bass-heavy songs, and I've heard the Sony's in-store and they are just too overpowering. My ATH-M50's are fucking heaven for my ears. I like my music to be clear and how it's meant to be heard, not with overpowered bass.

Noooo no no. My friend has those and they do NOT have a lot of bass, talking even from a conservative point of view. Plus they have a bad roll off after the 70Hz mark. Just look http://graphs.headphone.com/graphCompare.php?graphType=0&graphID[]=1203
I don't want anything particularity bass heavy, just headphones that have the ability. I enjoy my songs to be clear, but a decent bass is appreciated :3 Thanks for all the opinions!

Let's see, less general bass, and nice mids and okay highs, or fuckton of bass, shitty mids and okay highs?

You speak as though those two headphones are the only choice here....
[editline]1st November 2011[/editline]
and I'm sorry if he wants decent bass, the 428 just don't have it.
You speak as though those two headphones are the only choice here....
They're not, I was just comparing what was suggested earlier and my suggestion.
JVC HARX700's, Samson SR850's, or Panasonic RP-HTF600-S. Can anyone speak for these?

HARX700 are the best headphones I've owned
[editline]1st November 2011[/editline]
They're not fully closed though, so be aware.

I'm using the HTF600s. They're nice.
The band on my Steelseries Siberia's broke, so I decided to order a pair of Audio Technica ATH-AD700's after reading around a bunch.
I really wanted a pair that was as comfortable as those siberia's were. I actually thought about getting another pair since I got mine for around $25 last year, but I looked and they were $50 new, $90 for the V2's, so I decided on a refurbished pair of AD700's, which were $88 with shipping.
I can't wait for them to get here :D
Is my setup good?

Well. i want some none leaking closed headphones
with good speakers in em
So this is my current microphone:

It's a clip-on with a broken clip, so I use an alligator clip to hold it to my shirt. I need a replacement analog mic (I'm out of USB ports) that's either a somewhat directional desktop mic (My Blackwidow is annoying on Skype calls) or a decent clipon mic. I've seem the Zalman, though that looks like it's made more for clipping onto headphone cables, which isn't what I want.
Do any of you know a good leather conditioner, or what ever I would use on my M50s to prevent the leather from getting stiff or cracking? I'm not sure if I can just use the stuff you use on a leather sofa etc?
What's the best set of Sennheiser gaming headphones in terms of sound and comfort and price? (Price range up to and a little bit above £100)

It's not real leather, but you could try the same stuff you use on the sofa. It might smell bad, so I'd just purchase extra pads. I've looked for how to treat pleather but I could never find an answer, since I buy pleather shoes and the vinyl (usually what they use) cracks easily according to reviews.
They're apparently $10 each though, it's possible your leather cleaner will ruin them so I don't know if it's worth it. Might want to test it on a small area first or something.

Open headphones are generally best for gaming due to a wider soundstage, but they will leak noise as well as not isolate you from other noises.
HD555 are cheap and good, there's also HD558 which are the most recent upgraded version, but at nearly twice the cost I don't know if it's worth it.
I'm curious about your opinions on Steelseries Siberia V2, Facepunch.
