So you want your headphones to be made out of steel?
why the fuck would you take plastic headphones over steel ones
anyway, G35s are total shit please leave and never give advice again
Any headphone with "gaming" even related to it's marketing or product info is trash and overpriced.
It's a suggestion. Funny of you to instantly doubt it when you have never used them.
I have a $20 plastic headphone that doesn't break at all. Plastic can be constructed well and some higher end headphones have metal reinforcements as well.
The point is moot, 99% of headest/headphones/earphones are made of plastic. I was replying to Dr. Deeps "Not shitty plastic headset thread." - which is a stupid statement seeing as basically all headsets are made by plastic.

How do you know if I've used them or not?
And like I said, plastic can be constructed well. The G35's are not an example of this. There's a little more that goes into build quality of a headphone than "pour plastic into a mold."

And all headsets are fucking shit. Your move.
I have a laptop and I need headphones for it. Literally every headphones I had was broken because of cable. This time I want wireless. The budget is around $100.

So all liquid containers are bad if they have a lid on it.
So all liquid containers are bad if they have a lid on it.
what's that shit in the sky
I think it reads "the joke"
So all liquid containers are bad if they have a lid on it.
What? How is that related.
So all liquid containers are bad if they have a lid on it.
no.
headphones revolve around sound quality and comfort. if you get a pair of good headphones and a clip-on mic it will sound infinitely better and be infinitely cheaper than a headset. if you go to head-fi, the premier source of headphone knowledge, they will NEVER recommend a headset.
because they suck. not to mention logitech is not an audio company. i only trust my audio equipment with companies that focus on audio equipment.

So I get shitty smart arse retorts for trying to suggest someone a gaming headset. Awesome.
So I am telling someone to waste their money by suggesting a gaming headset. Awesome.
I take offense
my retorts are quite witty

The almost religious hate of the G35's (previous pair) makes me think I'm heading towards paradise when I get my HD 595's tomorrow :v:
in all seriousness you suggested a solution that was overpriced and has questionable quality compared to headphones in the same price range.
Alright well why dont you guys suggest me a gaming headset at the same price range as the G35s? No cheating, it must have a mic
Alright well why dont you guys suggest me a gaming headset at the same price range as the G35s? No cheating, it must have a mic
the lesson of the last page was that headsets have terrible price:quality
but yet you still want a headset

did you know that you can buy mics separately

The idea is that I want a microphone connected to my headset for convenience.

I saw the thread pretty much blow up with posts, but never imagined it to be my post that started this discussion :v:
I've had my fair share of "gaming"-marketed headsets, and have not been particularly impressed, so I think one of the other options are more likely.
did you know that you can buy mics separately
Yes, but why would I do that? The whole point of a headset is that the mic can be positioned right in front of your mouth, removing the need to go out of your way moving/leaning over to a mic without having a giant mic obscuring your view.

Well then yes, Sennheisers. Nothing beats Sennheisers.

that depends on your price range, how much bass you prefer, how natural you want things to sound...
Should I pick up SONY MDR-ZX100 for 14.5 USD?
that depends on your price range, how much bass you prefer, how natural you want things to sound...
Price range is not a contributing factor when it comes to Sennheisers, only on very few occasions are Sennheisers beaten in quality to price. Competitors such as Beats by dre and Skullcandys 5 times more costly then Sennheisers are usually the same quality.

Well hey, if you want to rely on the internet reviews rather than personal experience to test a device that can only be tested by using it in person, go nuts.

Hey hey, if you want to continue to suggest completely fucking shitty products, go nuts. Somewhere else.
So are razer headphones/headsets worth a damn? or is just the brand talking.
