no need for the xonar
the soundcard software lets you equalize shit and with those bass-lacking headphones, it's amazing
So apparently whenever I use the e5 FIIO amp with the ATH M50 headphones on my computer, the power in the entire building gets cut =)

So i like that clip on mic that was posted earlier. Some one responded to my earlier post saying something about sound leakage? (i couldn't find a good answer on google.) my main thing is i don't want to hear anything around me in the room, price range is still 80 - 120 gaming uses mostly with music still in mind

Ordered FiiO E9 amp. Can't wait!
Ordered FiiO E9 amp. Can't wait!
What kind of headphones do you have?
Hopefully it'll be at least some kind of improvement to Xonar DG I'm using right now. [editline]9th December 2011[/editline]
What kind of headphones do you have?
AKG K 240 MK II.

If the cable is annoying just roll it up and use some tape/cable ties/other cable management to keep it from being annoying.
Should I pick up SONY MDR-ZX100 for 14.5 USD?
3 pages with no response, anyone? :(

Do you know how bad the delay would be? also how are logitech head phones/head sets in terms of quality?
can't you just use something like this http://members.aon.at/grxpage/index.htm without a soundcard
I've been through every alternative as the Xonar equaliser isn't the best ever, but nothing matches its speed - with anything else lip sync and my ability to play osu properly goes right out the window
3 pages with no response, anyone? :(
It doesn't seem significantly lower than the general price of them, so you could if you wanted them I guess, though there would be no profit in it. [Editline]fake automerge here[/editline] It turns out that Amazon are selling them for thirty quid, so I would personally buy them and Ebay them and hope to get a profit.
you can but it sucks!!
how do you know
how do you know
because i have a xonar dg and i've tried other stuff
because i have a xonar dg and i've tried other stuff
have you tried that one specifically I'm going to try it when I get home, would like to have more control than my current x-fi eq
I guess my main issue with wired stuff is that my last 5 or so head sets/head phones have had split wires inside the cable. Do you know how bad the delay would be? also how are logitech head phones/head sets in terms of quality?
Logitech is sub par if you want audio quality. The delay from using wireless is gonna be measured in milliseconds so it won't be a problem. Though I'm not speaking from experience or wealth knowledge here I am lead to believe there's gonna be some signal degradation when it's sent via the wireless leading to an overall degradation in sound quality. Probably nothing you'll notice unless you're an audiophile/have other great headphones to compare it to. There's also the fact that the wireless is a pretty pricy premium, a pair of wired heaphones of the same audio quality would cost 25%-50% less. It's your choice really, if you really feel it's something you want then by all means go for it, it's still sennheiser so it's not like it's gonna be crap but just know you'll get a much better listening experience from a good pair of wired headphones at the same price point.
After posting in the quick questions that does not deserve a thread thread, I saw this one, and decided to ask about the quality of these headphones I bought awhile back. I bought these new for about 80 dollars a year ago and am curious about whether they are any good or not The reason I ask is because of all of the headphones I've ever used, these sound the best, and when I first used them I was blown away (after using shitty iphone earbuds for years) and I want to know how much better headphones can get than this
those are the best phones for gaming & string instrument heavy music in that price range they get much better than those
Could someone please clarify for me that if my (fairly stupid) friend buys some headphones with 150 ohms of impedance on them they won't be driven very well if at all by his on board soundcard.
Could someone please clarify for me that if my (fairly stupid) friend buys some headphones with 150 ohms of impedance on them they won't be driven very well if at all by his on board soundcard.
yes, this is correct
I'm looking for some headphones with good isolation mainly for gaming and general use. Music isn't really important.
We'll need a budget.
Apologize me for this question. But why not go for a headset?
Apologize me for this question. But why not go for a headset?
Read the thread and you'll understand
Apologize me for this question. But why not go for a headset?
There's nothing technically wrong with headsets but in reality they're all overpriced and underquality.
There's nothing technically wrong with headsets but in reality they're all overpriced and underquality.
Guessed it. Just wanted to make sure Also, Could anyone reccomend me some 50- headphones? I would like to use them for some gaming but mostly music
I don't understand why manufacturers can't take their good headphones and stick a mic on for £7 more?
