Computer freezes while playing games, believed to be 8200's problem.

When I play Team Fortress 2 or other games for a period of time, usually longer than 1 hour, the computer will show a random color on the monitor and nothing will be responsive, the keyboard won't even display caps lock on or off or anything so it's completely frozen.
I've played testing temperatures, and they never exceed 6 degrees Celsius from the min-max temperature for any components. Here are some specifications:
Windows Vista Home Premium
AMD Athlon 7450 at 2.4GHz
3GB DDR2
nVidia 8200 integrated
I downloaded the correct drivers for it, but dxdiag says that I have a 9200 instead of an 8200. I don't think this matters much, because this occurred before I installed the drivers.

I also don't think that it's a temperature problem because one time I had just loaded up a map in TF2 and it occurred. So, the question is, do you guys believe it's the 8200's problem? If it is, it has a PCI E 1.0 slot, although most cards today use 2.0, I've heard that they are compatible but have a slower transfer rate.
I don't think a integrated card uses a PCIE slot.
Also, why do you play games with a 8200?
Anyway, how hot does your PC get? I don't get why you mean with 6°C min/max.

I mean the min and max for all temperatures are hardly over 6 degrees from each other.
CPU stays around 40 idle and 45 under load, "ACPI," which I'm guessing is the integrated card, is 58 idle and 64 at load. These are estimations from what I've seen before, but they never get substantial.

Also it's just a little cheap prebuilt, it runs TF2 alright and it's all I have.
I think your integrated is dieing.
If so you must get a card before it craps out or you will be totally fucked. Well not really but you wouldn't be able to use your pc till you get one.
If you just want to run tf2 having only a 1.0 pci express shouldn't be a big deal. Any card really will do.
no card uses the entire of PCI-E 1.0 (except possibly the 5970, haven't seen anything on this yet)
I think any cheap 40$ card will outperform your 8200, so if it's actually it's fault then it shouldn't be a problem.
Right, thanks a lot guys.
