I have my Xbox 360 connected to my router using an ethernet cable, and on the router, the ethernet port that my 360 is connected to, the light is showing up yellow as opposed to the other ports which show up green which means it isn't getting full speed. On my 360 downloads are slow and I lag a bit in certain games. I tried going into the routers management interface to set the priority to high on the ethernet port that my 360 is plugged into but still doesn't work.
Maybe it's a gigabit router connected to the xbox with 100mbit?

Yeah it is, but I have a PS3 that gets full 1Gbit. Why doesn't my 360?
I don't think the XBOX 360 has a gigabit card in it.

According to Wikipedia, it only has a 100 megabit ethernet NIC:

IIRC the 360 NEVER gets your full speed.

Ah okay so that explains it. Thanks.
