To anyone who tried this and found the effect really jarring and doesn't like it, give it a chance! Live with it for a day or two, it won't kill you. Watch a couple of movies with it and spend some time on youtube trying out SVPtube. I got really used to it in about a day and now I can't live without it.
This. I was used to an old television too, then I bought one with 200 HZ CMR, which is basically 100 hz. Very nice picture indeed, and I must say I notice the smooth movement. I am experiencing a problem though, it's not working over VGA.
I then stopped watching movies on my PC altogether, just until I got this. I got too used to the smoothness it provides.
Chainik, is there anything like this project but for XBMC media centers instead? I built one myself as an entertainment system just because it boots in 20 seconds on an old harddrive compared to the minutes windows takes. It'd be a cool addition to have on a media center when the TV supports it.
Yep, you need DirectShow version of XBMC + ffdshow. May be it's a little tricky to set up but it will work.
Obviously only Windows version.

Time to change out the IDE harddrives in the media center then. Windows boots too slowly with those. Thanks for the heads up though!
