I need help a little, i just download it, and nothing happened, then I took the disc out and put it back in, and now I have to download it again. What happened?
Did you pay for it?
why are you downloading it if you have a disc
He's computer illerate. In his world, 'download' means 'moving files from CD to the hard drive'
Oh ya, I almost forgot, will it slow my PC down? My mom is worried that its gonna slow it down.
I bet she is also worried that it's going to give your computer a virus that will set it on fire.

well, when you are finished "downloading it", do you atleast try to run the game?
Thats the problem, I don't know where to run it, theres no shortcut icon.
this might be a stretch for you, but have you tried looking in the install directory? it's a fucking old game, they didn't make things retard proof back then
I think he might be a troll...
and that is where? I'am not a troll btw. I'am just a fucking dumbass when it comes to computers.
he is a troll...
fix'd
and that is where? I'am not a troll btw. I'am just a fucking dumbass when it comes to computers.
you're probably not going to like fallout
You aren't supposed to copy the files off the CD, you're supposed to run the installation wizard from the CD.
I did.
Come on guys, please.
add me on the msn in my profile
You may need to install a DOS emulator, but your hardware should run it fine.
This is sad.
Who's up for Drop Dead Thread status
You read my mind.
lol
way to bump an old thread..
Very old indeed... Thread lock maybe? Or will we discuss how this man did not know how to install Fallout :/
He probably went to the fridge to get a drink, all excited to sit down for the rest of the afternoon playing Fallout, and then he forgot how to walk and just kind of got stuck there.
Hope he knows how to press the start button, press run, type " command " then while he's in there type walk. :D
This is probably the funniest technical support threand I've ever read. Did he ever find out? Who knows. Hope he discoveres that this thread isn't locked, that could be a lot of fun^^ Did he try "The Laucher.exe"? :smug:
I don't think he even opened the disk drive yet.
