Red Faction Guerilla got boring for me in 2 hours.
The only thing exciting about RFG is the fact that you can fuck shit up. That wall over there? Fucked. That smoke tower? Fucked. That car? Well, the car handling is god awful, so you'll probably end up in a wall fucked up. It's great for a bit of stress relief.
Red Faction Guerilla got boring for me in 2 hours.
pre-order Duke Nukem Forever then.
put your computer on its side, then aim the intake fans at an air conditioner. - redneck suggestions board
It's got built-in deflation, it's not actually fluctuating. It's programmed to slow down, which means that the value of Bitcoin will skyrocket in the beginning, and then level out. That means that if you're not in it at the beginning, you're out.
Not completely out. Some people run serverfarms just for Bitcoins.

It's great for a bit of stress relief.
I enjoyed RFG, but the difficulty got too high near the end (at least, it felt like the end - it could've been one of those fakeout endings halfway through the game), and the missions were getting repetitive. It's a good game, just with pacing and difficulty-curve issues. I also tried playing the first RF game. It was OK at first - blowing everything up was cool, even though they never gave you enough explosives to have fun with it. But when they decided to stick me in a marathon-length disguise/stealth mission, with unbreakable walls and no explosives, they fucked it up. If you make a game centered around "YOU CAN DESTROY ANYTHING", don't make me spend hours in something undestroyable.
What i found fun in the first Red faction is the no wait time on the pistol, oh the amount of fun i had with that, firing 16 bullets in under a second with a macro.
That pistol was as amazing as C&C Renegade's pistol was.
I just reinstalled C&C Renegade. ah the nostalgia...
What have I done?? :psyduck:
People can laugh at Bitcoin server farms, but a Bitcoin server operator's home got searched by the police in Canada. He was using so much power, they thought he had a grow op in his basement.
What have I done?? :psyduck:
You know how easily this thread switches topics, You should have known
Does anyone know how the spinning icon at the bottom works? I mean, it's not a gif. Is it Javascript?
Does anyone know how the spinning icon at the bottom works? I mean, it's not a gif. Is it Javascript?
I read somewhere that it is an image that is spinning via a script
Does anyone know how the spinning icon at the bottom works? I mean, it's not a gif. Is it Javascript?
Whatever it is, Linux FF4 isn't spinning it.
I believe it was a CSS3 thingy garry was playing with. I think it worked only in Chrome, maybe Opera. Not in Firefox though.
Whatever it is, Linux FF4 isn't spinning it.
Which is odd, since even the default Android browser does
It spins around in Safari on my ipod too.
works only on webkit browsers
works only on webkit browsers
more like lamekit
Extremely off-topic but: All the red faction games are on 75% sale on Steam. Just in case you didn't know already.
I have a problem. I bought GTA IV + Episodes + Ballad on steam when it was 9,99 Euro, without being able to run it but im buying a new pc soon anyway. Now i almost bought red faction. If i continue like that i wont even have money to buy that new computer.
more like lamekit
typical firefox fanboy (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - verynicelady))
I believe it was a CSS3 thingy garry was playing with. I think it worked only in Chrome, maybe Opera. Not in Firefox though.
I never saw it spinning in Opera.
STOP The browsers have different characteristics and strengths and that is why the appeal to different people(Although using IE6 should be illegal by now). Get over it

So I stopped buying games over 5 dollars for like the past 2 months. Excluding brink, I was high or something when I bought that. Worthless game. Played it 4 hours. Maybe when I get my new system I'll play more but it's just not good enough to bother with.
STOP The browsers have different characteristics and strengths and that is why the appeal to different people(Although using IE6 should be illegal by now). Get over it
Exactly, I use FF5 (beta), Chrome, Opera and occasionally IE9 They're my backup browsers in that order when shit starts crashing :v:
So i was looking at the differences between Windows 7 editions for my new build: At first i read the last line as 'Boot from VHS'. (First part of the image for the interested, http://www.neowin.net/images/uploaded/win71.PNG i'll probably go with W7 Pro) [editline]5th June 2011[/editline] Image doesn't show, here's the link http://www.neowin.net/images/uploaded/win72.PNG [editline]5th June 2011[/editline] The fuck.
