Wait what, I didnt say IE was available on here. Im just bad at details. Sorry. :v: Okay enough system hopping. But I still want you guys to guess!
You implied IE was available by not listing that it was unavailable. More guesses: ReactOS AIX AmigaOS OS/2 OpenVMS z/OS RISC OS NetWare NeXTSTEP If it's not one of those, I demand some sort of hint. The type of machine it's running on would be a good start. Or at least the architecture - x86, PPC, whatever.
AmigaOS v:v:v Just fucking around with WinUAE. Bored as shit today.
For just the PSU + Case + GPU (that's a respectable level of hardware) actually to be honest if you're only getting a 6870, you're probably not getting the full value of your money.
Yeah look at this Awesome case + reputable 650w PSU + 6950 = $350 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.662146 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150523 Just saiyan

Why can't newegg ship internationally?
Im trying to stretch it...
Looks great if you want your PC to fail in a few months. Seriously, nice try but -Okay case at best -Powercolor is meh -Raidmax is shit -If you're going to get RAM get 4GB, and the standard price is $10/GB (the stuff you picked is overpriced)
Why can't newegg ship internationally?
Because by the time your package would get there, it would be a oldegg :rimshot: Just kidding, I don't know.
Looks great if you want your PC to fail in a few months. Seriously, nice try but -Okay case at best -Powercolor is meh -Raidmax is shit -If you're going to get RAM get 4GB, and the standard price is $10/GB
I already have 2Gb, so its just bumping it up to 4Gb
I already have 2Gb, so its just bumping it up to 4Gb
Make sure you get the exact same model number or as close to it as possible. [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] And seriously RAIDMAX is awful a PSU that won't explode with those specs would be over $125

If the shit wants to explode.. they'll pay for it.
They won't pay for your other components when your PSU decides it doesn't want to regulate voltage any more
they won't replace any parts that get killed when it decides to die
Then what would you recommend? [editline]6th June 2011[/editline] fuck it, im going with the combo deal.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.662146

[editline]6th June 2011[/editline] I'm optimistic. I wouldn't buy from them because they don't do the type of coolers or products I go for.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.662146
that will be fine, the 912 is a great case for low to mid budgets and the PSU is a vast improvement, for one it's 12V rail isn't way off what is advertised (624W rather than the 576W the raidmax claimed) good combo savings too
I'm computer illiterate and I thought I knew things... I upgraded my graphics card in 2008. It is a ATI Radeon 9800 XT. It is AGP. And at the time I thought it was good. :v:

I love reading this thread. It teaches me so much.
Sony can have all of my money for the Vita.
haven't been keeping up with hardware lately, but is ram really that cheap now? last time i checked ram was like 25 bucks a gig
haven't been keeping up with hardware lately, but is ram really that cheap now? last time i checked ram was like 25 bucks a gig
Yeah if you're paying much more than $10/gig (say $12+) you're paying too much hooray for technology i guess
$10/gig (say $12+)
So RAM is less expensive than bandwidth in Canada :v:
Goddamnit I hate Aus. It's $40~ for a 2GB DDR3 DIMM.
Goddamnit I hate Aus. It's $40~ for a 2GB DDR3 DIMM.
Come over to America then... oh fuck
So RAM is less expensive than bandwidth in Canada :v:
Someone did the math a while ago. With some Canadian ISPs, it's cheaper to buy an SSD, load it with the data you need, ship it, and then destroy the SSD once you have the data, than it is to pay the ISP to carry the data. I wouldn't be surprised if the same holds true for RAM. If not now, than eventually.
As soon as I can I'm leaving Aus for Sweden, USA or Canada.
Come live with the Ameribros :c00lbert:
As soon as I can I'm leaving Aus for Sweden, USA or Canada.
I'm thinking of joining you in fleeing to Sweden. America is starting to look more and more like 1930's-era Germany, and Canada, well, fuck Canada.
