It's a compilation of images and gifs of the "Get Out" Frog.
Could someone download and upload that video? It's blocked here, and I'd really like a copy.
You would like that, wouldn't you
yes dick slap the webcam
Could someone download and upload that video? It's blocked here, and I'd really like a copy.
It's because it has a copyrighted song, you'd have to mute it.
OR else the police would be knocking on your doors
Not in Estonia, man. Can I be on the ship too? I am probably a little guy somewhere. I have light-brown hair I guess.
It's because it has a copyrighted song, you'd have to mute it.
I can do that. :downs: Just give me the damn video :argh:
http://webian.org/ someone's taken the entire book from chromeos [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] also too similar to debian to be a coincidence

it's a shell replacement [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] i might use it when it matures more
So with IPv6, localhost will be ::1: instead of 127.0.0.1, right? So how long will it take for everything to upgrade (so to speak) to IPv6? I'm not looking forward to joining a Minecraft server with an address as complicated as 2a01:8900:0:1::m1n3:cr4ft. I haven't got a fucking clue what I'm talking about here by the way [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] and will I still be able to use 127.0.0.1 as an alternative to ::1:
m n r and t isnt hexadecimal letters Think again [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] And last block is too big
It's because it has a copyrighted song, you'd have to mute it.
I gotta admit though, the video uploader made a good choice when he used Velvet Revolver.
Who was it in this thread that suggested Zenos a couple months ago? I've forgotten who you are, but if it was you, thanks for mentioning it. I went along to an open evening, and although it's probably not something I'm going to do for a variety of reasons, it's definitely opened my eyes up.

All remotely common operating systems already support IPv6 (Windows 2000+, Linux since 2.6.12, the BSDs since 2000, OS X 10.3). So no worries there, unless you're particularly attached to your old DR-DOS 486. Switches, hubs and NICs (unless they do something "smart" they aren't supposed to) do not need to be upgraded. They simply don't even operate at that level. Most applications will work fine with IPv6. Not sure about games, but browsers can handle it fine (even IE 4 supported it). I just did a quick check, Minecraft does seem to understand IPv6 addresses. The only thing most people are concerned about upgrading are routers. These actually will need upgrading if they do not already support it. Many recent routers support it, but many do not, and a surprising number of old routers are still around. DD-WRT and OpenWRT support IPv6, but aren't always an option, and aren't always a good idea anyways. Addresses won't be too much more complicated. For example, my address (once I get the tunnel working) would be 2001:470:8:8c9::1 (other computers in my network would be 2001:470:8:8c9::2, 2001:470:8:8c9::3, etc.). It's almost certain that you will be running "dual-stack" for some time - having both an IPv4 and IPv6 address, and using either as necessary. So 127.0.0.1 will probably be around for quite some time.
Let's just remove arbitrary limitations and allow anything to be a routable address. Fuck DNS when you can just go to stupid:unfunny:jokes

Oh dear, if anything below Windows 2000 can't handle IPv6 when it finally comes around, my dad can't use his 98 dinosaur laptop anymore. :v: Not that it really matters since he got a new (current) computer. But who knows when that could ever up and die. Edit: Oh wait, never mind, ever since we got our new router and put WPA-2 security on it, it wouldn't work.
Sadly enough you will always have people using way to old crap :smith:.
But once it passes a certain age, Then it gets awesome again. That's why it's fun to play around with a old NES even though you got a 360 and a pc around

Like if your router was IPv6 it could emulate it as IPv4 for PCs?
General Chat & Question : Okay, I really, really like the WP7 interface, can I get into any kind of trouble for using a similar UI in a payed for Android app? The style is everything I have been looking for, simple and to the point.
The design is patented, so yes.
And its perfectly alright for a WP7 application which costs money to use the same style? [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] It may sound like a stupid question, I know. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] Metro UI. License : Proprietary EULA with open source components. I will just have to read it then.
Couldn't you use a IPv6 'proxy' or something if you had this problem? Like if your router was IPv6 it could emulate it as IPv4 for PCs?
I don't really know. :saddowns:
We'll be running dual-stack for a long time so I wouldn't worry about old crap not working with IPv6 yet.
Well, fuck. I gave IPv6 another shot. Signed up for a tunnel, followed the instructions, set up port forwarding so my router would send any IPv6 traffic to my laptop. No luck - still can't get an IPv6 connection working. And to make things worse, having that enabled, for whatever reason, made IPv4 pings fail about half the time. Completely. Had to undo it to get my Internet working at full again.

I've used Hurricane Electric and some other but I haven't tried to set up a tunnel on my router itself yet.
Just found out my cards come with single 6 pint to 8 pin, instead of just 2x 6 pin to 1x 8 pin. Basically, I should be able to run it in my system still Excited once again.
