gotta love that net neutrality coming to the Netherlands
That really doesn't mean much in Europe, and it isn't like Microsoft is going to show up in person and kick his ass.
The entirety of Microsoft.
Even the support [del]slaves[/del] workers from India.
Since I'm a big boy now that I turned 18, I went down to the bank to do some stuff that you have to do when you turn 18.
While I was doing that, I got my online banking credentials.
Ok, sure, the ID is random enough, but it's just numbers.
But the password has to be a fucking 4-number PIN.
I know that two-way authentication is a pretty secure method to secure online banking, but just because you have two-way authentication doesn't mean you should force your customers to use a shitty password.

use the following 4-number pin: 1337
with this pin, you are 100% secure(and l33t)!
Oh well, at least now I can do banking on the SEPA-zone.
It's time for playing around with Bitcoins.
Also, the line of browsers that my bank supports:
Internet Explorer 7, 8. Firefox 3. Safari 5. Opera 10 and Chrome 5. And higher versions of those, naturally.
See the lack of IE6? Aww yeah.

Sampopankki maybe? I have an account there and they only allowed 4 number pin.
And their system was written in Java. THEY EVEN USE A JAVA APPLET WHEN LOGGING IN!!! It's fucking horrible.
Maybe a reason why IE6 is not supported too.

Osuuspankki.
It's funny though how all the foreign scams are aimed at Sampopankki customers.
Also, I just went through some books in the living room and I found a strange looking green leather case that said Languophone on the side.
I took it out and opened it and I found a completely English course there.
First I thought it was from the 60's because of the old-ass looking tapes. I asked my dad and apparently it worked like a cassette tape, except it was out in the open. You'd have a roll on one motor and one on another and you'd spool the tape from the other to the other while a reading head reads it.
But it also comes with 2 cassette tapes, so it has to be at least from the 70's.
It hasn't even been used, I had a look and none of the tasks or homework assignments had been done (yeah, it's a self-study kit but it also had some assignments you'd do and mail in).
I should check if that company still exists.
Fun fact: the www in any URL is actually a subdomain.
[editline]9th June 2011[/editline]
Nowadays it either redirects to the domain name proper or vice versa
Content?
So the details are summed up as thus by my computer simple mind.
4 Gb ram
GTX 570 Graphics card (That's good right?)
6Gb slot motherboard
i5 Quad processor
120 GB secondary drive
1 TB primary drive
DVD/CD Sata disk intake thingy (I don't know the name lol fail.)
That's very good for 1,800 ~
I was thinking a 200 Gb secondary drive, GTX 580/590, 12-16 GB of ram ( Bigger motherboard) and at least an i7 processor. Could anyone summarize a pricing range similar to that?
Also that case is my brothers... it's crap lol.

He thought SATA 6Gb/s ment max RAM size..

People really should just forget the www subdomain already. It's stupid.
And it redirects if the server is configured to do that. And some redirect without-www to with-www, which I find just silly.
If the server doesn't redirect either, browser just says that no server found or something like that.
Chrome remembers these and put's the www in front of the address by itself. Don't know about other browsers.
When I see anyone type www, I rage
I used to have a (shitty) website. I didn't even have the www subdomain set up.
New mandrith dad?
Uh, I got the 6GB of ram from my dad telling me a slot held 2GB of ram, and it had 3 slots. I'm not very tech savy. Also I plan to run games like Stalker with 20 gb mods so I want quite a bit of ram.
The motherboard actually had 4 slots :science:

He would just buy an iPad and claim it is the greatest computing device ever.
He would just buy an iPad and claim it is the greatest computing device ever.
True. But this guys dad apparently goes to Computer fairs and built pc's before. How can you be that stupid?
In other news, because none of the windows based pc's have dvd drives, and since last year first graders get macbooks instead of books, and we are now doing a project which involves video's from dvd's. I'm getting paid 50 cents per rip :v: (Because i got a macbook too)
Chrome remembers these and put's the www in front of the address by itself. Don't know about other browsers.
There's actually a metaproperty called 'canonical' which specifies the canonical form of an URL, which may be the cause of that.
He would just buy an iPad and claim it is the greatest computing device ever.
I got a iPad2. and I think its quite good (only for multimedia).
When I see anyone type www, I rage
The only time I type www. is in Launchy. But there might be a shortcut for that, I dunno.
There's actually a metaproperty called 'canonical' which specifies the canonical form of an URL, which may be the cause of that.
Yes I'm aware of that, but there is a feature like this in Chrome.
Try rtv.fi without www (with chrome). It shouldn't go anywhere. Then type www.rtv.fi. It should go to the site. Now just type rtv.fi again. It should now add the www there automatically.
When I see anyone type www, I rage
I often forget to add www. as a subdomain to my domains, and I get a horde of angry visitors saying the website's down.

Yep, welcome to the world of onion routing.
Why does so incredibly many .onion sites get a 504 error?
Easily.
