mac sounds like a better solution unless they need some specific software that only works on Windows.

I like how just a few weeks ago everyone was like what the fuck is wrong with maxtor, and as soon as I explain their problems everyone is like lol maxtor is bad
well if maxtor has a higher failure rate and doesn't perform as well as other drives, sure
i'm not going to say get a maxtor because i have one hard drive from them that works
The only real difference is the price, you can choose between expensive and cheap but it's still the same quality and performance.
I sense an OS war is unavoidable!
For business I would say a MAC is better. For starters it takes less space while its sitting on the desk. It can run MAC Office which is similar to Microsoft Office. If you don't like the look of the GUI. You can always use Boot Camp(I think its called Boot Camp) and use Windows and OS X on 1 MAC. I won't say that one is more stable than the other, both systems can crash if the user did something wrong(Failure is not an option its already built into the software.). The investment would be very(I do mean very) expensive, MAC's don't grow on tress you know!

so your reasoning is that a Mac takes up less space and is more expensive
what
^Its not what I had in my mind while typing that. But close enough...
Does OSX even know what a domain is?
Regardless you make it sound like that's completely irrelevant. If you're prepared to repurchase Office for Mac there's nothing wrong with that. And Macs are significantly harder to fuck up for illiterates.

Give me boxes...
gladly
Linux+Wine
Just use Windows, and don't be stupid about it
If thats not an option, use OS X, you fuck up for a few days, but you'll get used to it
Then, realize that macs aren't immune to crashes

Why would buy an expensive Mac, and just because you don't like the looks of it and how it works, and then eliminate the reason you why you bought it?
You buy the Mac for the OS.
*puts on flame suit*
In all seriousness, PC. I don't know what people mean when they talk about this bullshit "crashing"
Why not linux?
I've heard it's painful for the less tech savvy users..
Mac is a dumbed down version of PC, if they aren't very savvy with technology I'd get them a Mac.
>Mac
>version of pc
ur an idiot
Linux.
PC, A Mac isnt even a true Mac, its just an emulation running on an intel processor, the differences are purely with price and software, for gods sake just get a PC, more software, more options, and a hell of a lot cheaper.
