Yeah and I've used Chromium and I can tell that it doesn't beat Google Chrome by any means. and there is no need to take sides in it either. Both are good browser - Both are the same thing.
They're basically the exact same thing... All Google Chrome is, is an old stable chromium build by Google with added auto-updater and usage tracking. Nothing else is different.
Peazip, because it beats 7zip.
[editline]10th September 2011[/editline]
And uses 7zip :v:
When I tried Peazip it had annoying extracting behaviour. I believe extracting a single file would still extract the entire archive, or it would recreate the entire path inside the archive or something.

Yeah because you never used the Canary builds.
THIS - Right Now.
Stable: 13.0.782.220
Beta: 14.0.835.159
Developer: 15.0.874.5
Canary: 15.0.874.8
And Usage tracking?
You know that every website tracks your usage.
Nothing new. If you are really that concerned about "Usage Tracking" then stp using interenet and start living in a cave.

It recreates the entire path.
Chrome, you want it.
Had it before. Got more frustrated by it as time went by. Finally got fed up after a few months and went back to Firefox. Didn't look back.
I missed FF and its features, so much...
I like Winrar because It automatically creates a new directory for the files, and I like my shit neat.
Looking for a program that can monitor hardware stuff like:
- Temperatures of the CPU/GPU.
- CPU/GPU/RAM usage.
- Clock speeds of the processor and Graphics card.
Highly prefer it if it's usable with the Logitech G15 screen.
[editline]10th September 2011[/editline]
Already got Speccy and MSI afterburner.

I would say RivaTuner (MSI Afterburner is based off an older build of this). And see if there are any plugins for G15 readouts.
It is open source but has a pro version? How would that work?
Pro version makes the report intervals shorter, or you can make it on-demand amongst other things.
I use it for my laptop and two phones.
Also I wrote a command line frontend for ccrypt, and now it resides on my USB drive for when I need it :v:

Rather tedious. Won't log when I close it, can't be minimized, Rivatuner has to be on at all times, doesn't monitor CPU temps, keeps logging the data which can result in hitches.
www.musescore.org A free score writer. I use it a lot.
VLC Media Player plays virtualy every music/audio/media/video file, plus if you have crappy laptop speakers, it can boost the audio alot
I use opera and there's nothing wrong with java.
What's wrong with it?
Try using Google Docs, then try to upload a file. Doesn't work.

damn, thank god MSI haven't updated Afterburner then, the newer builds sound pretty bad.

You can do the same with 7zip.

Yeah, no.
MPC + K-lite codec pack for video.
Foobar for music.
VLC is especially terrible with music. Changing to a random song with a playlist of a few thousand songs took 5 or so seconds to start playing.
Foobar is hands down the best music program.
Lightweight as fuck, and customizable to anyones requirements.

I've seen my bro use "CoreTemp" on his Laptop.
I've also used Samurize

I totally agree. :/ = and also VLC has started crashing If I open a few songs.
Hi guys!
I was gunna make a thread about a "free list of anti viruses" but I guess I'd just ask it here, and hopefully someone could answer it. I just hate these types of threads, cause I feel like something like this will be buried under pages of replies, and no one would proably be looking through them all. But i guess thats what search is for, but whats a forum? if you always search!
Anyways, I've heard of AVG, used it plenty of times. But I wanted to find out what else is out there... and what people thought about them. I usually never use a virus scan, but I thought, I could can do some research!
Thanks!
Edit: Found a REALLY good website, to explain all this to me. Found out it seems like for being free, Avast is actually really good. I've never used it but I'm gunna try it first on my laptop.

Check it out, I think it would help you guys out a lot for anyone looking for information about this stuff!
Comodo, or Microsoft Security Essentials.
Comodo is a bit more complete, but MSE is a bit more practical. Both are quite good, in their own right.

What's wrong with cpuz/gpuz?
VLC is really useful as a portable program: no need to install any codecs and shit and also you get many neat features like streaming and so on. It wasn't really meant for music since it started out as a streaming program.
What's wrong with cpuz/gpuz?
They can't output to a G15 if I remember, which is a useful feature. That's why we are looking for programs with that in particular, programs without that feature are easy to find.

I thought the G15 had that build in.
if you're looking for G15 (or G19) lcd stuff I recommend this site
http://mylcd.sourceforge.net/index.html
here some examples:
[t]http://mylcd.sourceforge.net/lcdmisc/status.png[/t]

Well, CoreTemp can output temps to the G15. But it's only CPU.
