I think you might be overreacting just a little bit. Tone down the hate boner.
I'm sure all the WISPs around the world are gonna love this p2p traffic :v:
make sure you're 100% up to date run wuauclt.exe /update now in a administrative command prompt http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?p=48318410#post48318410 do this too
Did both, do I need recommended updates as well? I cleared SoftwareDistribution/Download and ran that command countless times, but still nothing.
Someone confirm this
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki/windows_10-win_upgrade/how-to-create-a-bootable-iso-file-from-your/07590098-90a9-4c7e-b6fe-5ce1632daf4b
Now im starting to think MS really hates me. Tried all of the solutions so far and it only says my copy is reserved, nothing more, and running wuauclt does nothing (made a CMD and been running it for like 1 hour)
So I restarted my laptop after it got to the point where it says preparing for installation, but now it's stuck on "Installing update 1 of 2..." during the reboot process. Did I fuck up big time?
I'm still getting an instalation faliure after 99%, what should I be doing?
I take it I'll download the rest later?
I'm still getting an instalation faliure after 99%, what should I be doing?
try doing softwaredistribution delete again i just tried it again and now it's downloading more than it was before
Nope that's all of it.
Really? That seems awfully small.
Really? That seems awfully small.
It's nice, isn't it
try doing softwaredistribution delete again i just tried it again and now it's downloading more than it was before
Now its downloading 5400 mb, is this right? :v:
1.open cmd as admin 2.type "wuauclt.exe /updatenow /detectnow" 3.wait 4.[t]http://i.imgur.com/soooXli.png[/t] 5. profit?
Whatever that did... Service Host is d/l'ing at 2.5MB/s, the fastest speed I've ever seen at home.
So how would I go about making this a clean install if I'm upgrading from Windows 7?
Wait, is this update everyone's excited about for current Windows 10 users or people upgrading from 7 / 8.1?
My friend is experiencing the problem "wuauclt.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command". How can we fix this?
people upgrading
My friend is experiencing the problem "wuauclt.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command". How can we fix this?
he's typing ctl not clt, i made the same mistake as well
How does the upgrade progress begin? Does Windows Update just pop-up with something or do you have to do it manually?
Hope Edge gets some sort of adblock
i think 80240020 is just luck if you're lucky, the server will approve you, if you're not, you get 80240020 and you gotta wait
he's typing ctl not clt, i made the same mistake as well
We tried both, not working for some reason.
Hope Edge gets some sort of adblock
Chrome extension support is coming in the fall, I guess.
We tried both, not working for some reason.
wuauclt.exe is the correct spelling
wuauclt.exe is the correct spelling
Yes, we tried that. Not working. We don't know what to do. He's running CMD in administrator mode.
I'm not getting anything downloaded. I've ran the command but still Windows Update doesn't show any new updates, and I have no $Windows~BT folder.
I just fired up a laptop running 8.1 that hasn't really been used for the past 2 months. I'm getting no windows icon in the toolbar to reserve the copy of 10. Any ideas?

I'm not getting a download either, maybe they're rolling out the installer slowly, incase there will be problems?
