wuauclt.exe /updatenow has finally worked for me. Downloading now, and I hope bootcamp still works.
anyone having issues when you go to disable internet adapters
Negative
My $Windows is only at 140 mb and hasn't climbed, and my Softw...\Download barely has anything except for a "WindowsUpdateBox.exe"
Weird, mine still has a 2GB file.

Mine has such a file until the powershell goes from Accepted to Downloaded. Now it disappeared (but I think there are more files on $Windows).
Can I do a clean install with a windows 10 iso and have it detect my product key or is that not possible?
Got windows 10, Everything is going fine. except the nvidia drivers..... i can't even animate now.

With all the people complaining about Nvidia drivers I can finally feel glad that I have an Intel Graphics 3000! :v:

It can kinda do that with Windows 8 devices, not Windows 7, though.
-snip nevermind-
Windows 10 downloaded, prepared to install, and then failed :(
I guess I'll just wait until I get the window that says I can install it now.

Everything's in my $Windows.~BT folder, but when I click setup.exe, I get a missing boot.wim error.
I suppose it isn't exactly time for Windows 10 to come out yet.

Ok thank Christ. I can't install 8.1 on my laptop because of some stupid error. It bluescreens withing minutes of booting so I'm stuck on 8. If I can install fresh with an ISO, that would be amazing
Well, that went better than I expected, had to restart an extra time for my video drivers to kick in. Then I had to check nvidia's site for the newest drivers which weren't on GeForce Experience.
Hi Windows 10
Just in case, write your key down.
Any idea why I don't have the $Windows folder at all?

I'm currently trying to download the update through powershell again
This time it is going really slowly, which makes me think that the first time actually failed or something
I have slow internet, so it is feasible that the stage 3/4 is just going slow to download 3 gigs
-snip-
Sorry. i panicked too early.
Make sure you have all your correct drivers?
Also I see nothing ban worthy there.

Not sure what powershell does anymore, the third time I ran it everything was way slower and by now the $Windows folder seems ready, but it still says 4 Failed.
Running the wuauclt thing doesn't work either, so I wonder what's the next step. Deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder?

I have Windows.~BT but I haven't even reserved the upgrade :v:
The date is October of 2014 though, so it probably had something to do with me installing the first TP.
so powershell has been downloading this thing like forever now, is it normal for it to be going on for this long? i mean even downloading 3 gb is not usually a big issue for me so i just don't have any time frame to gauge this on

It might be. Open the task manager and go to the Network tab: if a big amount (half for me) of the graph is eaten it is likely downloading stuff.
Wait...
Im upgrading right now. It never asked what type of installation I wanted. Uh how do i do a clean install?
Finally got it reserved on my dad's laptop. Running the powershell commands just does nothing asking me to run everything except the last command. When I point it to run the install module it just hangs? never asks to run or anything, won't let me do anything other than mark text.

Going by the network usage, I was downloading roughly 11 Mb/s, So its probably not going much faster than that.
fucking hell, i keep updating my windows, but it doesn't download me the damn reservation app or even download windows itself, i need serious help
