Finally managed to finish step 3 of 4, the $Windows.~BT folder is actually getting closer to the correct size now.
The update to Windows 10 keeps failing. I keep getting Code 80240020. Help?
Getting this error on 7 when running the powershell windows update module. Then when trying to run the WUInstall script it just hangs. Am I fucked (as in fucked out of getting it to download this way, not in general)?:
Guys I was having all sorts of problems, this fixed it for me:
What this error means is, your Windows 10 installation folder is unfinished and/or corrupted. Now, how do you fix that? 1. Go into "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" and delete everything in that folder. 2. Now, run the command prompt as an administrator. Type in "wuauclt.exe /updatenow". 3. Go to your Control Panel > Windows Update and your Windows 10 should start re-downloading from scratch, hopefully without flaws this time
welp as you guys said that i realized that powershell now is not reporting a download, i just see the "2 accepted" thing which i heard was supposed to say "downloaded". i'm gonna snoop around to see if anything has changed on my pc but if not then microsoft better get crackin with this update
I just did a clean install with the 10240 ISO through windows. It doesn't ask for a key if you run setup through windows.

my computer still hasn't started upgrading yet. it is a bad surface pro 3. must punish by defragging it's SSD
anyone manage to get 353.62 installed?
Actually managed to install itself successfully on my end.
I'm sure that if Modern Setup Host is running and using resources in the background, its installing normally right?
well ye it just sees you're on windows already and uses that product key???
Yeah, just make sure you download the installer updates.
So I've got an issue, the Nvidia drivers can't seem to force V-sync on games. This is rather important to me as it fixes glitches with older 3D GTA games (III,VC,SA) and would otherwise make it impossible to play at 60fps with the frame limiter off. Any fix at all?
my computer still hasn't started upgrading yet. it is a bad surface pro 3. must punish by defragging it's SSD
I just updated to Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 3
aaaaaaaa why won't it download
I have the upgrade reserved screen, deleted the downloads folder, windows update says nothing about needing it further up-to-date, and I've entered the wuauclt.exe /updatenow command numerous times now in admin mode. I'm also still in the middle of backing up a few gigs of my stuff to an external drive. Anything I missed?

Does anyone know if there's something I can do to install a media pack for Windows 10 N like you would for Windows 8 N? Some of my games are freaking out because it's not there.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/vYf8IPH.png[/t] Just got this. I swear my PC was already ready, but ok????
You just keep repeating those steps until it works.
And it works when it suddenly changes from 'reserved' to 'downloading'? Does the command prompt thing keep sending requests to a server or something and I need to repeat it until an opening is available?

Mine just said the installer failed for some reason. I guess here we go downloading it again.
