How is Edge, guys? Does it support extensions yet?
Anyone? The tool and the CMD Prompt updating haven't worked and I really need this.
Anyone? The tool and the CMD Prompt updating haven't worked and I really need this.
You don't really need this.
Here's praying it won't be single-language after it updates.
So are people actually getting product keys when they upgrade? I'm trying to upgrade through the program on Microsoft's website and people are reporting that they don't actually get keys?
you qualify for the free windows 8 upgrade so dont bother with dreamspark?
I just thought the easiest way to get a clean Windows 10 iso would be to download it directly from Dreamspark, rather than going through the hassle of an upgrade and reset or whatever.
Stuck on "preparing installation" How to fixo?
Hello from Microsoft Edge! It's quite a bit faster than Chrome I've found so far. It also has a nice UI
If only it wasn't lacking half the features of any modern browser.
Holy shit. Go back to your previous build really means go back to your previous build. I think my failed Windows 10 installation is actually going to revert me back to Windows 8.1. EDIT: Yup. I'm back to 8.1
I ran disk cleanup after upgrading to 10 and it removed about 7 gigs of the windows 7 I had upgraded from, feels fresh.
Sooo, how do I make search ACTUALLY search my apps foobar is RIGHT THERE under "All apps", yet nothing comes up when I search for it, or anything else that didn't come with the OS for that matter
For all your file searching needs: http://www.voidtools.com/ Everything is the best search application I know of.
I wish edge had at least some sort of adblock
I can't get any Ethernet connectivity. When I try to troubleshoot it says I don't have a valid IP configuration.
Anyone else having a weird issue with login and DWM.exe? I made a post on the Windows subreddit to see if anyone else knows, just checking if anyone here has experienced it: https://www.reddit.com/r/windows/comments/3f1dmp/weird_issue_with_win10/
If anyone else was having this problem, I've solved it. Turns out that I had that AeroGlass program to change Windows 8.1 and forgot about it. With it not being compatible it kept trying to run on Windows 10 but was crashing DWM.exe.
I wish edge had at least some sort of adblock
I hope someone develops something for it soon
I can't get any Ethernet connectivity. When I try to troubleshoot it says I don't have a valid IP configuration.
I had to manually install the LAN drivers on my ASUS mobo (Z87-Pro) to get ethernet working.
I had to manually install the LAN drivers on my ASUS mobo (Z87-Pro) to get ethernet working.
I'm on an ASUS mobo too so I'll try that.
Since the update i had trouble with my Elantech Touchpad on my Packard Bell. The Windows default drivers dont really work well. For example the Edge Scroll and the sensitivity didnt really work. If you have the same problem i would recommend you download " TouchPad_ELANTECH_15.6.0.3_W10x64_A.zip " from the Acer Website. Just go to www.acer.com > Support > Download Drivers for the "Aspire V7-481" and choose Windows 10 64 bit. It will look like this but not in german. This site helped me a lot ww I wanted to share this information because i couldnt find a solution in google
So, Is it worth to upgrade to W10?
Thank you Asus for having a hidden Windows 7 restore partition. Now to install Windows 10 [sp]again...[/sp]
So I was sleeping while the windows 10 downloaded and I'm now at this part, how long does it take from here? It says Preparing Installation
So, Is it worth to upgrade to W10?
If you have a old pc and Windows 7 barely runs on it - dont upgrade otherwise yes
Windows Update gives the error 80246010. How do I fix this? EDIT: Ok, something is happening after I wrote the cmd command.
You know what I just realized it could have been? Perhaps it was UXStyle that was somehow marked as compatible and completely obliterated my installation of Windows 10. I'm going to try again.
Don't select Upgrade this PC now. Choose the 2nd option
What am I supposed to do with an ISO if I don't wanna burn it on a DVD or stick it on a USB
What am I supposed to do with an ISO if I don't wanna burn it on a DVD or stick it on a USB
Use zip disks
IT STARTED AGAIN! Guys, I need to ask you something. If I install Windows 10 from the ISO, how can I activate it? Do I use my Windows 8.1 serial key?
