Nobody?
you'll have to install windows 7 and then upgrade. if you just use the media creation tool, you shouldn't have to fiddle with windows update on windows 7, afaik
whenever a new version of windows comes out I always check to see if they updated the disk quota image they never do
Cortana is pretty cool.

I bought a really dirt cheap used computer for my dad and the case had a genuine Windows 7 key sticker on it as it was a pre-built gaming pc, but my dad thought the case was too big so I rebuilt it in a smaller case I had from before and then built my own computer into this "new" case with the key sticker on it :v: So I gotta downgrade to 7, to upgrade to 10 :downs:
Cortana doesn't seem to be working for me, whenever I say "Hey Cortana" and then anything, it'll come back and say that either Can't Connect to the Internet or Something went wrong
How long does 'Making Sure You're Ready to Install' usually take?
how can they make an error this basic? is this just happening to me? [t]http://i.imgur.com/5AD1rKS.jpg[/t]
Not sure if it's just me but the thin font they use looks terrible.
So I haven't opened my command prompt since build 100xx or something, it's been awhile. I just noticed on 10240 it's fucking huge what is going on :v:? [t]http://puu.sh/jhPQe/c85321a299.png[/t]
"Making sure you're ready to install" ... "Install Windows 10, keep Apps and Files" Oh that's a bit vague, I better check the other options. Ehh, seems fine. Does microsoft actually give windows 10 product keys when upgrading? I upgraded mine and all I can retrieve from my system is the generic win 10 pro key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
Ran into my first problem with Windows 10: Firefox 39 can't play YouTube videos.

Anyone here simply upgraded without a clean install without any issues?
Anyone here simply upgraded without a clean install without any issues?
I've upgraded both my laptop and PC and have been using it with zero issues for the past day. I don't plan on doing a clean install either, since everything is fine.
Yeah no I fixed the font, just no idea how it got changed or during which build upgrade. The font size was set waaaay too high.
you have to turn off windows defender in group policy though, or windows 10 keeps turning it on automatically, Microsoft REALLY wants you to use it http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5918-windows-defender-turn-off-windows-10-a.html
Is this folder safe to delete once your on windows 10? Folder: $Windows.~WS [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/kS3h9e.png[/t]
Not even Edge seems to work with YouTube videos
i upgraded to 10 and then did a clean install from a USB and now it's telling me that my product key is invalid what do i do?
Where is it telling you the product key is invalid, any error codes?
It seems that my login and boot times are alot longer than windows 8, any idea what could be causing it?
i upgraded to 10 and then did a clean install from a USB and now it's telling me that my product key is invalid what do i do?
You do know windows 10 has a reset option? there is no need to reinstall again.
It's incredibly frustrating not being able to use YouTube
eh does anyone here know if you upgrade via the tool if it asks for a product key? and does it just install and keep your files? I lost my Windows 8 key a while back and am worried if it will prompt, or if I install straight from Windows 8 it'll be fine?
Where is it telling you the product key is invalid, any error codes?
under updates & security: Error code: 0xC004C003 The activation server determined that the specified product key has been blocked.
Ok, the most important question for me: can you still right click on programs and see the recent files opened as well as pinned?
whenever a new version of windows comes out I always check to see if they updated the disk quota image they never do
That is sheer laziness, Windows 10 has near enough a whole new set of icons and yet they couldn't be fucking bothered to change two more.
