It runs fine, but just trying to reduce as many background processes as possible for games.
Which games are you trying to run anyway? Maybe I can help with some tweaks.
Can anyone else confirm problems with GTA? My issue is a 40,fps lock regardless of settings. Low or high. It was fine just last night so I have no idea what the issue was caused from.
Yeah, found it, thanks. Also, I take it asking Cortana to play music only works with default player? Would be nice of her to open MusicBee instead.
I would think she'd open the process that is the default for music in settings? also wow, I don't know if its because I've only ever used Windows Media Player before for music, but I really like Groove Music.
Is it just me or does the Start button occasionally break and not open? I may have broken stuff around while trying to remove the Xbox app though, this is a test laptop so it doesn't matter too much, nothing important here but just wondering.
Is anybody else having it so that when you boot into windows the loading screen goes away after like 5 seconds then you sit at a black screen for a minute waiting for it to get to the login screen? There is no mouse cursor in the meantime either.
Anyway to force the Win10 upgrade? I tried the CMD/Windows Update thing, didn't work and the media creation tool is stuck at 0 percent for ages
I'm probably gonna go back to 8.1 and wait a bit before going back to 10. 10 is just filled with issues for me ATM.
Now I'm getting that explorer.exe flashing and crashing issue as another user in this thread. Windows 10 really doesn't feel very stable right now, this is incredibly annoying right now.
Which games are you trying to run anyway? Maybe I can help with some tweaks.
Not even intensive games, like LoL and osu! can stutter when they get hectic. Not trying to set a fps goal or anything, just maxing out whatever I can to make it fluid.
Anyway to force the Win10 upgrade? I tried the CMD/Windows Update thing, didn't work and the media creation tool is stuck at 0 percent for ages
Download the microsoft utility. X64 http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=616936

Also restarting Windows 10 a bunch of times always seems to fix these issues somehow. My framerate goes down only my laptop gets hot.
Download the microsoft utility. X64 http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=616936
Yeh that's what I've done, selected the upgrade option. It was stuck on 0 percent for almost 30 mins last night. This normal?
Are you running something other than Intel 3000?
I don't know what any of this means to you :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/c0aF0EW.png[/t]
This is also happening to me right now, but I do have a mouse cursor. Ughhh.
Is your drive fragmented by any chance? I want to see about ruling out what it could be. I'm defragmenting right now to see if it would resolve this, I was at 22% fragmentation because I'm great at neglecting my computer.
Is your drive fragmented by any chance? I want to see about ruling out what it could be.
The defrag should be automated on Win 7 and up. But like it didn't lock up anyway, I had a completely different issue than yours, I had to restart Windows to fix explorer again. I don't think the two issues are actually connected.
Hey guys, just a bit of a question. What is the purpose of the multiple desktops? All of the icons I put on the desktop carry over onto all of the others.
Hey guys, just a bit of a question. What is the purpose of the multiple desktops? All of the icons I put on the desktop carry over onto all of the others.
So that you can keep different groups of windows open.
I don't know what any of this means to you :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/c0aF0EW.png[/t]
Yeah I don't have dedicated graphics. That'll be the difference.

My issue doesn't really affect 10's functionality, it just makes the startup really, REALLY long.
I'm probably gonna go back to 8.1 and wait a bit before going back to 10. 10 is just filled with issues for me ATM.
Expecting a flawless day one launch is your own mistake
Yeah I don't have dedicated graphics. That'll be the difference.
I never realized that, I'm not too much into mobile gaming so I don't really know the difference between dedicated and integrated (on a laptop). Maybe what I'm saying is stupid, kinda sleepy now :v:
Is there a way to get wallpapers to display on both of my monitors on the lockscreen, like it did in W8? Or is it supposed to and it's just me.
Wow for fucks sake I can't get this thing to stop crashing. Every three minutes it randomly shuts down. Why did I install a new OS at launch it's always a bad idea.

Asked a dozen times, but how do you force the update, if its possible? I've "Reserved" the upgrade long time ago, and after Win10 release the icon in the tray is gone, and I do not get any updates about Win10 anymore.
There's a good bit of design inconsistency for context menus and such in 10.
There's three different kinds in Edge alone. What the fuck. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/B0cLCpS.png[/img_thumb]
