Can you elaborate on those OS X systems?
impossibly better DPI scaling, better media support, more industry support and lots of small things. like network share mounting with things that aren't samba based, better fonts and font rendering and colour space management
better media support
2001 called, they want mov back
i'm not here to argue about formats

I decided that if I was really going to find the bugs and glitches in the Technical Preview, that I was going to have to install it on my desktop. Everything works wonderfully and things are very stable as of right now. I get an error prompt that pops up for a split second when I restart or shut down using the start menu buttons but that's the only thing I've noticed so far.
Alright, so I've got the survey thing that I interest checked about not too long ago at least "functional": https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1whrzXVY7UuzED2gakXykA1WamQX_R4n924pkt_8R6VE/viewform If there's errors or something I should ask people about, speak up before I go spreading it around.

So the above survey can be used for things now, the couple of tests were fine. You know where the link is.

So would driver versions for windows 7 or windows 8.1 be recommended for Win10?
So would driver versions for windows 7 or windows 8.1 be recommended for Win10?
Too early too tell I think Most likely will just be some small changes required, the NT version isn't that much different
THought so. Some W7 drivers are giving me an "Unsupported Platform" error [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] Oh, neat. It has the PS3 controller as a detected device, without me having to get MotioninJoy.

I am liking 10 so far. I installed it on my desktop at work and I haven't had a single problem. I really wish the taskbar icons were based on which "task view" you are in instead of always visible. Has Microsoft said they are going to change this?
Put a feedback bit in on it, things are reportedly (By Microsoft) going to be changing a lot in the development of Win10. One thing though, is it worth linking your user account to a microsoft account? I wanted to offer feedback for something a while ago, but it insisted on making me link up to a microsoft account before doing anything.
You can sign in to apps individually without linking accounts if you want to (unless they changed/removed that in the week since I used Win10). I thought it was a neat feature since I wanted to report feedback but hated having my stuff linked to a Microsoft account.

Couldn't do much with it, but it still worked.

http://www.businessinsider.com/this-is-what-happened-to-windows-9-2014-10
Our objective with Windows 10 is ... to build absolutely the best OS for the enterprise. That's the early focus," Prophet said. "We've got the process. We've got a million people using it. And we're listening. Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/this-is-what-happened-to-windows-9-2014-10#ixzz3GCGsOOMA
I hope that this "best OS" has the ability to Set up an installation medium that doesen't prompt for a Microsoft Account by default and has all the Windows App Store features disabled. That would be a big step in enterprise acceptance. A better Windows Backup Feature would be really nice, possibly with the addition to automatically push resources to an external location.
