This opened up version of rt is what they're going to use to drive their internet of things push. It's essentially the IoT SKU, so for fancy cars or central heating or toasters or whatever. I doubt we'll see it on phones.
AKA the headless SKU.

Looks like they're also going to be supporting the new Raspberry Pi, so that's kind of cool. Would make the case for a good smart TV platform, I think. http://www.theverge.com/2015/2/2/7962179/raspberry-pi-windows-10
[t]http://i.imgur.com/8lF4ZJZ.png[/t]
Serious question, is there a suggestion box for Windows Explorer to include tabs? That's all I want in native Windows.

Tabs in windows explorer would be the most ultimate god send but honestly a tabbed interface should've been added in Windows 8 tbh can't complain when W10 will be a free upgrade so
maybe i'm just not the right audience but the only time i've ever had more than one directory open was when i needed to do file transfers, and two windows (or ^C ^V) have always been easier than the tabbed approach (I use Dolphin on Linux, which does support tabs).

If they just add tabs and the column view from OSX then you've got a pretty awesome file explorer.

Tabs would be nice, but honestly they're not that useful in my experience.

I'd never use the vertical columns either but I'd be glad if they got added in too. It's nice to please all the parties.

SHHFS connection through Windows explorer would be cool too, but fat chance of that happening.
I'm using Clover at the moment that adds tabs to file explorer, I couldn't live without it now.
The Windows file explorer is perfect for me. I just want tabs so I don't have 20 instances open.
Yeah, I have absolutely nothing against adding functionality like that, I just think tabs are somewhat overrated on file explorers.
as far as I know the Libraries feature and this quick access thing have been the only notable features that have been added to the Windows file explorer since Win9x and that's suited me and pretty much everyone i know just fine sure, go ahead and have tabs, ain't going to hurt anything, but apart from that i can't think of a whole lot of things that a file explorer would need to be able to do apart from the basic "manage files" thing
finder left a big .ds_store file in my soul
I hate those. So much. I do a lot of work back and forth between my desktop and my laptop, and every time I bring something over from my laptop I've got to deal with twenty or thirty .DS_Store files. I'm not even sure what they do.

What is a 360 degree mouse wheel? Does it spin "all the way around"? Because that sounds like all mouse wheels I've ever used. So what is it?

It's just a small trackball.

Has anyone been able to install on GPT disk?
Im stuck on Build 9879 for some reason. I think it may have something to do with the fact that im connected to a domain (In normal windows update i have to manualy give permission for updates otherwise it waits for it to be pushed out by the domain controller, which never happens). I cant find a way around it, other than leaving the domain, which would mean loosing access to networked storage, hmm.
So installing the updates from the updater to the newest builds causes my computer to freeze on boot, thus rolling back the update. The reason for this is because my GFX card is fried (partially) and will only work on the stock Windows drivers, the updater tries to install the AMD drivers. Can I update while preventing the install of those drivers?

It lets you scroll 360 degrees in whatever window is up instead of only vertically. I wish it was something that PC mice used because its so much better Also the side buttons when pressed together would (by default? i know you can change it) organize all open windows on the screen and then when you push the buttons again while moused over a window it brings it into the foreground I.E.: [t]http://www.windowstomac.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Screen-shot-2011-06-22-at-17.04.14.png[/t] So fluid to switch between windows. Stuff like that makes me miss using a mac because its just amazing for multitasking quickly.
