So who's decision was it to remove blur from the taskbar in 10158? They finally added it to the icon tray :v:

I have a question regarding the Windows 10 upgrade: If I am on the Insider version, once RTM comes out, do I have to do a full windows installation(and lose my programs, appdata, registries etc), or is it going to be delivered through Windows Update like any other update/service pack?

I apologize if it's been asked in the thread before, but is there anyway I can turn off Windows key functionality in the Win10 tech preview? Really liking the OS thus far with the exception of the fact that I can't use my Windows key as a Push-to-talk key anymore.
And 10159 is here, gotta be the quickest time before builds? I guess nearer RTM less bugs, less blockers.. http://blogs.windows.com/bloggingwindows/2015/06/30/whoa-another-pc-build/

Think Windows 10 will work as a daily driver until release? It's come to that time when my hard drive could use a wipe, but release is only a month away...
Think Windows 10 will work as a daily driver until release? Its fairly stable as an OS, although some applications have their own quirkiness that haven't quite been smoothed out.
Absolutely. Its fairly stable as an OS, although some applications have their own quirkiness that haven't quite been smoothed out.
In that case, I'll get started now.
Decided to give it a try, and I have to say I'm quite pleased with it so far. The only real issue I've encountered so far is a random explorer crash upon restart. Otherwise it has been smooth sailing.

nvm [editline]1st July 2015[/editline] why are there two store apps now?
Looked a few pages back, but could not find it. Win10 didn't download for me, i got it reserved and my OS is fully updates through Windows Update. Anyone know if it's a staggered release or something else ? Kinda want to try it now
Got Windows 10 installed, now I just need to wait for Windows Update to start detecting updates in the Fast ring.
Just realized i mixed up the months, so disregard me
Really getting the feeling OneDrive is getting more forced when you have it. Like had it running and just had dual folder for documents and pictures (quick access and pictures ones) now with 10159 its all just OneDrive and it refusing to move those folders under this pc. [editline]1st July 2015[/editline] Probably need to cool my hothead off but not being able to move the damn documents and pictures folders to the location all my documents and pictures are stored pisses me off.
Is there an easy way of disabling all the OneDrive integration completely? I always use DropBox/Imgur for uploading content.
You can reset the documents/pictures folders etc in the registry. I think it's a bug.
Is is common to get an 0x80070003 error when trying to update apps? And why are there duplicated apps? (2 Music apps, 2 News apps, 2 Weather apps, etc)
Is everyone still on 10130 or am I missing an update here. The Windows update in settings just is complete shite and doesnt work
Is everyone still on 10130 or am I missing an update here. The Windows update in settings just is complete shite and doesnt work
10158 right now on fast ring
Is everyone still on 10130 or am I missing an update here. The Windows update in settings just is complete shite and doesnt work
Apparently it takes up to a day for Windows Update to detect updates on the fast ring after switching, so I've been stuck with a somewhat usable 10130 today. A few glitches here and there, but it will do until my Windows Update detects 10159.
You can reset the documents/pictures folders etc in the registry. I think it's a bug.
I made a new account and it just so happened to not get stuck in OneDrive, but setting the registry entries for my previous kept resetting, I hope it's a bug, or we're going to get a lot more storage.
10158 right now on fast ring
10159 actually
I upgraded my laptop from 8.1 to 10, and now the sound is crackly whenever I plug in headphones. speakers sound fine, nothing wrong with the headphones on any other devices. tried updating the drivers it didn't help. it's a toshiba satellite s50-b with connex smartaudio hd if that helps.
I have a 14 hour plane trip soon. If anybody knows ANY solution to this I will lick their scrote It's gonna be a serious fly in the ointment
The new Windows Update blows
Have you tried messing with different sample rates? sound properties > active audio device's properties > advanced
Also disable audio enhancements while you're in that general area, see if that helps at all
You're in the fast ring I take it.. try restarting if you haven't already (not power off, power on- restart since that prevents hybrid boot)
It's been about a day for me now, and it still isn't detecting fast ring updates. It does get Windows Defender definition updates, though.
