Damn, just got around to installing 10162, can't activate it, they've blocked the product key. Will I still be able to update?
Think Nvidia will have stable drivers by the 28th?
Rolled back my nvidia drivers, all's good on 10240.
I just installed the newest Nvidia drivers for Windows 10 64-Bit. Works fine.
10240 uninstalled my antivirus without notifying me great job there microsoft, how is this RTM again?
Good question, but thanks for letting me know before I installed 10162 on my laptop >.>
I just finished installing 10162. I upgraded from 8.1 and never asked me for a key. It's activated though. Just waiting for 10240 to show up now.
I just installed the newest Nvidia drivers for Windows 10 64-Bit. Works fine.
353.30?
353.30?
That's the one.
Does anyone have a 10162 ISO floating around? The last local copy I have is 10071 which is refusing to show any upgrades (not surprising), and my only other option is to nuke again back to Windows 8 and try and find an onboard EXE from somewhere (the search for which is proving even less fruitless than the 10162 iso). I was meaning to grab that ISO yesterday before they pulled them but I'm shit out of luck
It's gonna be ages until games utilise DX12 anyway isn't it
10240 uninstalled my antivirus without notifying me great job there microsoft, how is this RTM again?
Well shit. 10162 just did this to me when upgrading from 8.1 What antivirus are you guys using?
Has this light blue border around active windows always been a thing [t]http://i.imgur.com/25emv22.png[/t]
It's been there for a couple of builds.. how I wish that you could turn it off. It changes with your accent color.
Think Nvidia will have stable drivers by the 28th?
Running the latest windows 10 Nvidia drivers stable GTX 980.
I was hoping some of the store applications closing on startup would be fixed in the RTM release, but it seems it's still occurring. Apps like MSN Weather and Money automatically close when they get launched, but none of the workarounds had any effect, like uninstalling/reinstalling, WSReset.exe or any PowerShell related commands. Does anyone have a clue what would cause them to crash on startup?
They're going to move to app polish from now on until release I guess, since apps are updated independently, and get the apps really, really solid.
So, I've got an insider copy, does this get converted to a release copy when Win10 releases?
So, I've got an insider copy, does this get converted to a release copy when Win10 releases?
The way it should work is that you leave the insider program, restart, and then put in your proper 10 key. Just hold off on going out of the program until the end of the month.
I'm sure this has been said before but I can't wait until they add a feature to pick and choose updates. Forcibly installing a video driver that doesn't even work on my gpu every time I restart is not very cool
Hmm, having the same issue where I can't sign into a microsoft account: doing it in OOBE sent me straight to create a local user account where it would normally ask for 2factor, and trying to switch from that local account does the same thing (closes the window immediately). I've tried turning off 2factor with no success. Any ideas?

anyone having weird mouse glitchy things. You don't have to roll-back. just reinstall the latest version of your graphics driver over itself. It does not have to be a clean install of the drivers.
Mail updates came [t]http://link-removed.xyz/i/2015/07/15-07-16_10-35-44.png[/t]
lol wtf is that half life email
Kinda miss Windows 8.1's mail app, it was nice having all your email addresses stacked up in the lower corner without having to make extra button presses to access them, which I have to do now, especially when using 4 email addresses.
It's gonna be ages until games utilise DX12 anyway isn't it
Lots of engines with variable rendering backends who will end up getting Dx12 support for free
